I bought last year's and probably only used it out of necessity once or twice (although I did use it on the odd occasion when bored or checking updated prices when away from a computer).

Won't be buying it again if more than $2 (which it will be). If I am out on a Friday night, forget to do my team and absolutely MUST get it, then I'll download then, but can't see any point.

Come to think of it, I'm not buying it out of principle than anything else.

The app is pretty good. Much the same as last years one. It's got everything you need.

Only annoying thing is the Panasonic advertisement down the bottom of every screen. Would have thought after paying $3.99 the app would be ad-free. Ah well still happy with it. Will definitely come in handy when the supercoach site has its annual crash 1 hour or so before lockout.

I downloaded it too, it would be handy to check things quickly but with how safari is on the iPhone anyways I will be using that more then the app for SC

Just a plain white bar where the ad was. Wonder if they are backtracking. Are they even able to?

the difference is you pay $4 to see your team in list view and you see your team as you doon the pc with safari for free.

Everyone keep giving it one star ratings and we'll see how the Herald Sun react. Notice the Dream Team app made by the same people have no ads I believe.

EDIT: Also the horribly horrible Superfooty app that I somehow paid $3.99 for last year has been updated, with ads.

Same. Looks like they've responded to all the negative reviews. Next step is to get rid of the white bar lol.

I had reinstalled the app on my phone a month or two ago, and it was updating with the latest articles and team news - however, I just went to check it to confirm it was working for you, and no information is loading at all.

It seems as though they may be milking it the same as the SC app (by releasing a new one), so I would wait and be sure that the app you're buying is in fact the 2011 version.
