wouldnt call these trades winning:

Dickson > Milera after round 2, in the end Milera works out better for with my bye structure anyway.

Shiel > Phieffer last week, again, not the best but it was all because of bye structure.

The rest of my trades though, pure genius.

Yeah - said in another thread the other day how wrong I was on Danger - isn't the first time I've got things drastically wrong in SC and most certainly won't be the last.

Even a few weeks ago before some of his massive scores I advised someone on here not to get him saying it was only a matter of time before he failed and his price dropped etc etc.

Irony of it is he's actually in my side - I preached to everyone preseason about how he was a no-no then I actually picked him from the get-go. Reason being I couldn't really see any other forward player who worked with my bye strategy who might score decently as I assumed all the GWS cows would basically be out by rd 11. I thought if he was a failure not too much harm could come of it because 80% of people in my league had him anyway and I was always just focused on a league win.

Unfortunately I traded him out of Dream Team around rounds 6 or 7.

Dickson > C.Smith after Clay Smith got that 100 and Dickson didn't look like getting a game again is just a sample of my stupidity.

Better than my coniglio/shiel > c smith (i forget which)

new regret - not trading a kennedy for zorko last week.

A few regrets for sure....

• Had Lake, changed to Ibbotson
• Had Neale, picked Wingard
• Picking Josh Caddy & Hayden Ballantyne
• Giles as R2 over Maric, and not having Giles as R3 instead of Redden
• Trading Broughton after two bad games for Kennedy, Broughton goes on to average 95+ after trade and Kennedy <50
• Picking up Barlow 'on the cheap' at $444K, he hasn't moved
• Trading in Devon Smith before he tonned up

Not the longest list going around so I can't complain too much!

Had Sidebottom in my team all pre season, took him out just before, said to myself "next year", idiot.

Having Cloke from day one makes it even worse.

Similar. Had Sidebottom all preseason instead of Fyfe. Thought id leave fyfe until he was cheaper. I went with Fyfe. Gets injured. Had Sidebottom as the replacement all week. Last minute reverse trades and go with goodes. Goodes gets injured thenI finally go Sidebottom for $548k instead of 452k plus cash lost on Fyfe.

So lost 100k on Fyfe, paid 100k extra for sidebottom and lost 2 trades. I'm sure many that has Fyfe have similar.

Losing 4 out of 5 leagues by tossing a coin and playing Adams (50 odd) over Treloar (115) Round 9.

- picking J.Butcher as (my will play every week back up bench cheapie)
- bringing in Ziebell with cash left over from starting the year with Giles
- picking Tomlinson for two games then trading him out.

(There are usually 4 trades which corrupt my season every year)

Have not done 4 yet this year (where is that fingers crossed emoticon)

Have a great side on paper but they have not clicked together once this year.

You just described my situation except I went Mumford to Sandi. And I brought in Carrazzo for Shaw, Dempsey for Broughton. I'm dead, only got 6 trades left (5 after Sandi) am probably going to hold onto Zaha.

Good to know there are others out there with the same problems/frustrations. I can barely go a week without one of my players copping an injury. I’m actually scared when I watch games now. I would trade my injured players but it seems inevitable whoever I bring in will get injured at this point.

Dustin martin. He outscored zaka, sidebottom, dangerfield last year. They have left him for dead so far. Picked martin over, pav, goodes, chapman because of their age. I hope the spud goes nuts against gws. How bad was it when maric tried to mark his ball on the line when it was going through, pure supercoach killer that one. His contested possession count is pretty low too, stop trying to look tough get in there you muppet.
