1. Placing too much importance on the byes rather than just getting the best team.
2. Nick Riewoldt ahead of Dangerfield who most wrote off before the season.
2. Nick Dal Santo ahead of pretty much anyone half decent as an upgrade, specifically could have gone Cotchin or Watson. Outside players are fantasy busts now considering the amount of players around the stoppages these days, contested possessions are crucial (ie: Dangerfield whose disposal is pretty average but who wins the hard ball)
3. Dustin Martin
4. Trading out Beau Waters thinking it was a 4 week injury only to have him return within 1.
5. Broughton (never again)
6. Mumford from the start
7. Not picking up Zorko until he was in the $300ks due to trying to keep a semblance of a side during the byes
8. Selecting Jared Boumann initially (muppet).
9. Fyfe, M.Murphy, Goodes all injured early on in the season and using early trades to cover for them.
10. Trading out Ablett when he was only gone for a couple of weeks.
11. Running out of trades a few weeks ago.
12. Coniglio ahead of Greene + $50k odd at the start.
13. Sideways trading out of Dickson because he wasn't getting much of a go, should have kept him as he started to play regularly merely two weeks later.
14. Downgrading to Tom Couch who was never going to score well and isn't going to get another go this season.
15. Going Giles -> Goldstein around 5 rounds ago only for Goldstein to start scoring rather poorly relative to what he did last season.
16. Ignoring MPP which is costing me now.
17. Lee Spurr not playing during the bye rounds (thanks Ross Lyon you f***wit)
The only decent things I did this year:
1. Getting Beams in when he was down at ~$490k (around round 5 or so), has averaged around 130 odd from that point.
2. Getting Priddis in when he was at ~$460k
3. Treloar, outside of his one game where he scored 7 he has done the business covering for Franklin, specifically the last two weeks.
4. Gibson providing solid backup in the mids and outscoring muppets like Dal Santo.

Not getting on Zorko is the biggest one this year.
Also not having the balls to follow through with putting the captaincy on Cox this week. Had it on him all week because of Geelong's ruck problems but chickened out because apparently he was injured! Put it on Ablett (same as my opponent) and lost by < 30 points.

Not getting Beams when i told about 3 people to get him my reason was i already had Sidebottom and Cloke in as forwards and did not want another Pies player

I am currently 50th overall and yet I feel like I have had a crap season. I annoyingly went for Kreuzer over Nicnat at the start of the year. I traded in Lewis instead of Sidebottom due to not affording Sidebottom by like, $600, then he (Lewis) gets suspended. I burned 4 trades bringing in Ziebell and Barlow and then traded them out only a few weeks later.
I was all set to line up with out Fyfe and then at the last minute I brought him in. I have had Martin for the entire year. But with out a doubt the worst one was going for Malceski over Beau Waters, the logic being Waters always turns the ball over...damn.

If you made those mistakes and are still sitting at 50 I'd say you did a whole bunch of other stuff right, either that or just got very lucky.
