Firstly Ballantyne. I started with him after reports he'd be doing a reasonable amount of work in the midfield.

He scored 105, iirc, in the first round and got suspended for 2 weeks. I thought he was a bargain after that first week.

He's been woeful since he's been back. I wanted to get of him for this week but it was pretty hard to justify when I had players who are injured that I need to get rid off.

Hopefully this week.

Ziebell was going to taste cold steel this week, but GWS in deciding to base their selection on all of their players whom i have, forced me to keep him and i made only one change, dropping Shiel for Cotchin. Have 15 trades left, and Ziebell comes alive with 118 or something which might save his bacon with me.

Hope GWS get smashed this week for their policy of resting all their cash cows, and J-Mac being rested for a second week in succession (given he's already had three weeks rest on account of 2 weeks suspension and the 1st round single game against Sydney, he should be as fresh as a two-year-old colt when he comes back.

FML ... Murphy has scored less than 100 only 2-3 times in the past 2 years. Since trading him in he produces a 90, 70 and now a 30 and probably gone for a long time.
