I was watching the smurf very closely and planned to bring him in this week which I thought would be his basement price. Dodged a bullet.

When he returns, he will be a perfect luxury trade. might even get low enough for me to sideways one of my GWS boys

Against an Adelaide team who hasnt really laid a hard midfield tag all year? I thought not.
So you thought he'd crack out 187+ to beat out his BE? How often does any player crack out a score that high? He was always going to drop in price again even with a good game.

Being on the verge of getting my 6th premium and completing my mids (which I would have done this week with Murphy if he hadn't gotten injured), I'm not sure I can wait that long given it could be up to 12 weeks out. Doesn't give him much time to shake off the rust and get back into form either.

No, I thought he would score well though. I had a two premium midfield, was playing my best mate in a league and Murph was cheap. I was pretty sure he was set for 120+ so I bought him in.

Guthrie had him since the start and just shake my head every game he plays, at least he plays every game only positive out of him.

This year has been my worst year for trades and basically my knee-jerk reactions to injuries and poor form.

E.g. Out D.Smith in Pfeiffer then Out Pfeiffer in T.Adams
Out Shaw In Carrazzo then out Carrazzo in Fisher :(

My dumb move of the year has been trading out Broughton just before round 3 and bringing in Malceski.

Been regretting that ever since.

Trading in Geary in round 5 as my Nat Fyfe replacement (Swapping Dangerfield forward and then Deledio into my mids). Scores of 84, 99, 95, 100, then I trade him in and it's 28,54,43 and then using another trade to say seeya later.

I started with Malshitski, so as long as i pass the byes, it's bye bye and hello any other decent back :)

Ziebell again....Subbed off! Intolerable situation for an ertzwhile premium, he's being fed to the fishes after this week. $720K in the kitty, so hello to Upgrade City.

Certainly a mistake to fall for one-off efforts against Geelong as a sign of 'arrival' as a player. And yes i know he has a back injury today, but can't take that chance with a bloke of 400K.

Travis Cloke had it up to here with him. Thing is dunno whether or not to just hang on to him now and hope he comes good because his price is so low.

Unfortunately he will be in my side until at least round 15

Looking at my team, there is every chance i'm going to be forced to hold onto one of either Hargraves or Malceski for the rest of the season. Hoping for a good run with injuries, but I simply dont expect that to be the case.

biggest regret so far, picking Stanton as captain over GA this week cost me the win by 20 points.

Not sure what is up with Cloke either, really regretting getting him at round 1 this year.

Waite. Though he would be a high risk, potentially high reward unique pick. Started out averaging around the 100 mark so was very pleased. Since then he's missed 3 out of the last 4 games with injury with a 37 somewhere in between

I should have known. Killing me having to play to rookies on the field atm while he sits on the bench. Oh well at least he hasnt' got suspended.

Malceski and Hargrave will come good.

I'm saying this because I have both of them and can't get really afford to get rid of them now, and so it will be, that they will come good..

I pray you are right, because right now they are killing me. Malceski has a predicted score of 33 this week. WTF!!

Still regretting the same trades... Every time I look at my team.

Shaw -> Carrazzo -> Fisher  I should of just held onto Shaw with his hammy.

And D.Smith -> Pfeiffer -> Adams Absolute waste of trades but ended up with the better rookie.

Wouldn't say that Pfeiffer is the better rookie. He is a pretty average player IMO.

LOL JM!

I meant it would of been easier to just trade D.Smith to Adams... rather than bringing in a spud.

:(

Ah, I see what you mean.

Wasting 2 trades on rookies to get to Adams. LOL!

I'm too embarrassed to say some of my early blunder trades that I did.

Dickson > C.Smith after Clay Smith got that 100 and Dickson didn't look like getting a game again is just a sample of my stupidity. :D
