There is one extra player named on the interchange (Bytel) and he has been playing as our fourth rover (behind Steele, Crouch, Jones).
Would be a huge change if he wasn't named tbh, but it may be a good sign for Clark owners....
Ah ok, Hunter and Dunstan named on field, so they’re both probably dropped for Marshall and Jones. Webster out injured likely, maybe that’s how Highmore is getting back in. Long could be in too tho. Well those 2 in for Long and Clark if he doesn’t get up. Bytel should hold his place...

North had only 6 AFL listed players in the VFL today... & 2 of them got injured.
The travelling emergencies/medical subs are Tom Dyson (sigh) & Eddie Ford (who still looks a fair way off AFL level).
It's gonna be a lonnnnnnnggggggggg season.

What amazes me about this has nothing to do with players. VFL. 22 team comp. Didn't start until 5 rounds into the AFL season. 16 game season. Each team has 3 byes. 3 F***king byes!!!! What level of incompetence have they reached when a comp that shouldn't even be called the VFL anymore can't have a full H & A season because they decided to have more practice matches than they have in the season proper?
