Let's just say I've managed to dodge the bullets in DT that others haven't. Mrs Norton doesn't like DT or how I get worked up about Swanny taking some cheap marks in the back line. Still her friend will be around again, if I ply them full of plonk I may just get a captain at those wonderful Cans. And her hot friends as well.

I had an idea which I thought would get divvied but is simpler than Supercoach. I call it Bay 13 Supercoach.

A person chooses 6 players any team, any position as their players and nominates 1 captain(whose score is doubled). No subs so if one of your seven doesn't play bad luck.

The Bay 13 twist is that you have to choose a spud whose score is taken away from your overall score. If your spud doesn't play or you don't choose one , you have 80 points taken away from your overall score.

So say you choose Goddard, Ablett, Swan, Martin, Priddis and Franklin with Ablett as your captain you might get 800 points.

Just say you choose Kosi as your spud and he stinks up the joint and gets 40 points, your overall score is 760 points.

Anyway it would have been divvied so meh...

This gave me an idea for dt/supercoach... I call it bay13 spudcoach.

Get together a league to play, with the object being the LOWEST score you can get.

The trick is every player you have who doesn't play you have to add 50 points per player to your score (so you can't pick a team of spuds who will never get a game).

That way the object is to get the lowest score out of players who actually play week in, week out.

I prefer DT as a game, because I can understand the simple scoring system, plus this is my 10th year and I'm loyal to it.
I don'k like the scoring system of SC, and I dont like the way they standardise scores. Eg, a few years ago, Dyson Heppell went off the field, he was on a particular score when he went off, he did'nt come back on and his final score was standardised down.

Usual story for me in SC, blew too many trades too early and then the wheels have fallen off when I ran out of trades

Finished 12th in the BF Bay 13 league and 6th in the Bay 13 Elite league after winning only one game in my last 5 games.

In my Saints Div 1 league I lost my last 8 games to go from top 4 to bottom 4.
