Binge watched season 9 up to the point we are up to (on Eleven anyway) over the past week and a half. I did see most of season 10 when it was on last year and purchased the dvd when it came out last year (scored it for $25 on release when it should have been $45 :D). Have to say that I've never really liked Jensen Ackles in anything I have seen him in and don't even know why I started watching Supernatural in the first place being that he is the main star. However "Mark of Cain" Dean is my favourite Dean :D.

Thoughts so far on the season Spud?

It's a return to form Ryzie :thumbsu:

I struggle sometimes with the filler eps, even though Supernatural do a great job with them. Not enough eps with Cas/Crowley for mine (I'll always complain about that, lol), but any mention of arch-angels/Reepers gets me all nostalgic about S5, which imo was easily the show's best season.

They took too long to revisit The Cage in Hell (it should have been broached in an earlier season). I love Mark Pelligrino as Lucifer and I think he's been an underutilised character presence in the series.

My dream scenario is
Michael's
return, but they've seemingly quashed that given some of the dialogue.

I'd prefer
Gabriel's
return personally.

Also Chuck is confirmed to be in episode 20 so take that as you will.

IN! for that storyline too Randomizor :thumbsu:

My only concern of a solo return from that character is
Gabe wouldn't be strong enough to defeat Lucifer on his own :(, let alone The Darkness. Hence my suggestion of Michael, albeit a 'broken' Michael, return. But BOTH would work too!! :D

Great news re: Chuck.....

Or is it God....? :D lol

Lots of spoilers going on in here :p

They mentioned earlier in the season that it took God and all of the archangels to eventually cage Amara. I'd like them to continue on that train of thought, which would require bringing characters like Michael and Gabriel into the mix again. Also God.

Agreed. :thumbsu:

Hopefully Micky makes a return, how they can have the long awaited return to the cage sans Michael is a tad inconvenient. This show always has the ability to play the 'vessel' card when it comes to staffing issues.

Mischa Collins does an epic version of Pelligrino's Lucifer. It's funny he's acting as a version of a different actor from a different character, inside a vessel of a different character....and you buy it (good luck if you understood that!)

Have to say seeing Jeffery Dean Morgan in Walking Dead is a downer....reading up, can't believe its been 10 years since he's been on the show and left in Season 2!

Yep him being cast in The Walking Dead has nailed the door shut on him returning as John Winchester :( they will probably just use the young John Winchester from now on which sucks

He's said though he's open to returning when the show winds down and to get proper closure on the character, but sounds like

Walking Dead:
Going from Talking Dead and Kirkman, Negan is around a while, so if we do see him, would probably be a cameo or single episode at best

Castiel acting as Lucifer acting as Castiel was confusing haha

Might piss a few people off; but that was still one of the best episodes they've ever done....

Also, 'Worlds greatest dad' mug :D
100% agree. I loved how Sam and Dean trying to save the town and each other really paralleled what Metatron was trying to tell Chuck/God about how humanity won't give up etc. Worked very well thematically imo and it was probably my favourite episode since the season 5 finale.
