From memory I cannot recall it doing so, therefore that makes it a filler for mine.

Yeah that's what I don't get, why should it be filler just because it has nothing to do with the central arc? In the X-Files, if an episode had nothing to do with the central alien conspiracy, was it filler? No, IMO, and not here either.

I'm a little worried about the direction they are taking with Cas, love him and is my favourite character, but I hope they don't start using him too much as comic relief.

Good episode though, loving ones with the Horsemen.
