Really liked that ep (especially the Perth reference).
Re: blood of the fallen father of beasts, could that bring back something to do with the alphas? (Alpha vampire etc). I can't think of anything that could relate to the fallen ruler of humanity though.

Like where they are going with Bobby, seems like they might be setting it up as the main story arc next season.

Did anyone else notice the head-vamp's line "See you next season"... is that the writers clever way of giving us an insight or am i reading too much into it?
 
I noticed it and had a genuine Lol moment. Pretty sure that means we'll see him next yr tbh.

I thought that was it too for the season, so I was left a little underwhelmed. Then I see there is a 23rd episode. Is this normal? Im sure it isn't.

Def a 23rd ep titled "Survival of the Fittest".

Writing is superb, but the acting is even better. The amount of in-jokes, and facial expressions crack me up every week. It's as good at comedy as it is as at drama and horror.

Killer episode, I like the fact that every fight isn't to the point of almost defeat, only for some miraculous saviour. It used to be that they always came close to death, now they mix it up a bit, cutting edgar's head off wasn't too difficult.

Love the humour in the show. Funniest episode definitely with the supernatural "comicon" type meet.
 
Yea good ep. It does seem a bit rushed towards the end though with all the fillers mid season. Hopefully season 7 ends with a bang although I doubt the Leviathan story line will end this season.

Na, funniest episode was "the french mistake". Jensen and jared doing their acting scences had me in stitches. i think i laughed out loud more often in that episode than i do in 90% of comedies i've seen. or the one where the trickster trapped them in tv world, with the nutcracker game and the csi piss take.
 
Am I the only one who thinks the Dick Roman character is a mirror of Patrick Bateman from American Psycho? Perhaps it's just the way the actor portrays Dick, but his overall creepiness, quirkiness, the way he talks, and his facial expressions are almost spot on. :eek: :thumbsu:

Hopefully God will finally make an appearance in the season.

It's kind of obvious it will be John Winchester as Dean/Sam/John = Michael/Lucifer/God

As am I.

I was a little disappointed with how they finished Bobby off, felt a little lackluster.

Since they killed the head leviathan does that mean all the others just drop dead? If so, it will be very interesting to see how they play it from there with Sam on his own in a demon dominated world and Dean + Castial stuck in purgatory (can't see Dean having any chance there...)

I think the remaining Levi's in the building were killed by the army of demons Crowley had surrounding the building. Season 8 should see Sam stopping the Sucrocorp plan and finding a way to send the other leviathans back to Purgatory. As well as the whole Dean and Cas saga.

I don't think there are. Didn't God make purgatory as a sort of jail for the monsters that were too strong to be on Earth? Next season Sam will probably use everything he has to try and get Dean and Cas out of Purgatory, probably involving the alpha vampire given the whole "see you next season" line. Hopefully Death makes a reappearance too, love his character.

Also Sera Gamble has stepped down as the executive producer and showrunner and is being replaced by Jeremy Carver.
 
Forgot about this thread, 'cliffhanger' felt very similar to season 4 IIRC? When Dean is left in Hell?
