SUPERQOACH is a FANTASY DRAFT game, where all COACHES will have a team of eight (8) Sweet FA players, whose DT points throughout season 34 will accumulate to give each player a total round score. There will be opportunities to multiply your round scores through a CHALLENGE system. You will also be able to DELIST & SIGN available players in the PLAYER POOL.
There will be no draft this season so qoaches are free to choose any player from the PLAYER POOL, even if another qoach has that player. Teams will consist of:
2 x defenders
3 x midfielders
1 x ruck
2 x forwards
Player positions have been included below. Positions are based on where players played in season 33. All rookies and returning players are automatically assigned as midfielders. These will be updated after round 6. Feel free to copy the player pool into a spreadsheet and format as a table to enable sorting.
To join, please post in this thread. Initial teams are due by 11:59pm Saturday 6th August. Captains, please tag any interested players in this thread or your team threads/PMs.
DELIST/SIGN
Qoaches will be permitted a maximum of one (1) trade per week during the Sweet FA home and away rounds and two (2) trades during Sweet FA finals. It is up to qoaches to manage their teams accordingly.
Delisting/signing players must be posted in this thread between the end of the final Sweet FA match on Sunday and 11:59pm the following Saturday. I will like your post to confirm your delist/sign.
CHALLENGES
Qoaches may challenge another qoach each week. To challenge a qoach, both qoaches must signal their intent to challenge in this thread between the end of the final Sweet FA match on Sunday and 11:59pm the following Saturday. I will like each qoach's posts to confirm a challenge. The winner of the challenge will be the qoach with the highest team score for the week and will be awarded the loser's score. The loser will score zero.
CAPTAINS & VICE CAPTAINS
Qoaches must nominate a captain and vice captain each week. The captain's score will be doubled and the vice captain will receive a 50% rounded down to the nearest whole number. If a qoach fails to nominate a captain and vice captain, the previous week's captain/VC will be used. If a qoach fails to nominate a captain and vice captain in week one, the first two players listed on the qoach's teamsheet (ie. their defenders) will be named as the captain/VC.
FINALS
Superqoach finals will commence in round 13 of the Sweet FA season with the top 8 qoaches playing off in the same format as AFL finals. There will be NO challenges during finals. The Superqoach Grand Final will coincide with Sweet FA S34 preliminary finals.
PLAYER POOL
I will do my best to keep this up to date however if you see a new player in the squad submission thread please let me know.
