Neither Riemers or Houli would get a game in our midfield so I'll take Austin.

You'll find out about Austin soon enough. He's developing very nicely for a bottom aged key position defender.
I would think Houli would get a game running off the HBF for you guys

Gee if applied the exact same formula for the 2001 draft, we would have...

Bartel shithouse.
Hodge worst drafting blunder ever
Ball a guts player who will never get injured
Ablett a over-rated inconsistant mother
Dal Santo the next brownlow medalist
Judd the greatest thing to grace the turf
Polak, next superstar CHB

So yeah why dont we write kids off and pump others up after 2 years.

Btw Eric Mckenzie will be a superstar.

I was about to disagree, but Ross, Thomas, Campell, Urquhart are great pick ups. Hansen at pick 3 I still find laughable, and Goldstein yet to prove himself but yeh acceptable draft. Edwards was a good pick up at 82 as well.

What is laughable about Hansen at pick 3?

I find that post pretty "laughable".

Great kid, rare football talent.

I would also strongly disagree with that statement at this stage of their careers but I still don't see how Hansen's selection is "laughable".

Whoever said Hansen's selection was "laughable" is a muppet, he's going to be a force in a few years time.

hmmm the carlton fan that found Hansen a laugh going at pick 3 - in rd 20 this season against Carlton his 2 goal 18 disposal 8 mark game showed his ability. Wonder if he found Carlton laughable that day.?

He'll be a great footballer at Afl level , apparently Carlton are trying to get him now & the tiges as well. Doubt it will happen though.

All right, you keep Austin (who?) and we'll keep Reimers and Houli and Davey from rds 3-4.

Oh dear...we have a deluded one on our hands
We have a starting midfield of Judd, Stevens, Gibbs, Murphy, Scotland, Carrazzo, Grigg, and Simpson. Riemers and Houli wouldn't get a game ahead of any of those players.

Austin on the other hand is looking good as a long term key defence prospect and there is a position available for a quality young key defender.

Houli would easily replace Carrazzo

Reimers has more aggression and better skills than Simpson, he also kicks more goals

Austin is currently speculative, the only game I saw him play (vs Adelaide @ AAMI) he was way out of his depth, still has a long way to go.

At the end of the day I guess its all semantics, you're going to rate your players higher than ours and vica-versa

One Eyed supporters like you shouldnt be aloud on this site cause its clouded views such as this they just make you look foolish....the only one i would take out of those before i tok Houli or Reimers would be Judd and Murphy. Stevens is slow and about 80 years old, Gibbs had an easy role to play for Carlton this year while he did it well he still doesnt appeal to me, scotland had a shocking year, Carazzo the clanger king yeh will take him (not) grigg (who?) has he had a touch this year for pick 19 he is a joke, and simpson is a battler at best. But agreed wouldnt get a game before Murphy and Judd but they wouldnt want to play for a dud team that we beat twice this year anyway!
