Getting my 4 wisdom teeth out was the worst.. I couldn't eat pumpkin soup, up'n'go's or ice cream for a while after getting over that. I was completely miserable for about 2 weeks after the operation, the first night I couldn't even open my mouth wide enough to get a baby toothbrush in my mouth properly..bad times.

I was extremely lucky then. Had all 4 wisdom teeth removed about 3 weeks ago. Did it under local anesthetic, no bruising, very little swelling. Had them out on Thursday, was back working the following Tuesday.

You were 100% 6 days later? Top work. :thumbsu:

Took me 2 weeks to fully recover. Had all four out though...

No, I had all 4 out too. Under GA. Actually i had 5 teeth out that day. The tooth next to one of the bottom WT was badly decayed, so that came out too! :D

Was not 100%, but I had no choice. Dunno if I could even delay the flight by a few days or so. Didnt ask, lol.

Had all 4 out also, and a piece of jaw bone removed with it. Not eating properly sucks big time.

Had 3 other operations with a GA, and one with local and sedation. I remember them putting the staples in. Good times :thumbsu:

So glad I haven't had my wisdom teeth out reading these stories! One of my bottoms is visible but for some strange reason they didn't X-Ray the top so I'll have to do that next dentist visit. Probably a good idea to get them out within the next year if I need to seeing as I'll probably be off the parents private heath insurance in a couple of years time.

Had all my wisdom teeth taken out as they were growing sideways into my other teeth. Had them removed under local so not really painful but still not a pleasant experience watching the dentist yank your teeth out. Wasn't much fun afterwards either with all the swelling and soreness but was right after a few days.

Also had a hernia operation done under general so was painless during the operation but was painful as hell afterwards, basically any movement was difficult and painful. Spent a few days just lying on the couch watching tv or playing playstation recovering, which wasn't much different to my normal routine but at least I had an excuse for doing nothing.

Had a few surgeries in my short life.
1) Three dislocated shoulders resulting in a shoulder reconstruction when i was 17.
2) Surgery to fix issues with my nose. Had broken it when i was younger. About 18-19 at the time
3) Subsequent surgery to remove scar tissue in my nose
4) Knee menisectomy (sp?). Lucky to avoid knee reconstruction.
5) Gastric band surgery to assist with losing weight, which worked

I'd love to go in and get my ankle and finger fixed. Both got ligament damage in them, and give me issues. But gonna try and hang on as long as possible
