Touché.Neither has Hawthorn.
I do like that we won a premiership at Optus before ever playing Freo there.

Yeah but if you don’t count the ten losses to Essendon it’s 6 wins and zero losses and you guys ******* suck6 wins 10 losses against Essendon.
Ripper thread.
surprising stat hawthorn has never beaten collingwood in a finals match or a match where they met in a finals series.
collingwood has won all times when ever the two teams have met in a finals match eg elim final, semi, prelim and never played off in a grand final either.
collingwood bet hawthorn in the 1979 and 1980 night pre season grand final at waverly park.
amazing stat
Cool stat.Adelaide have played a final against every side - with the exception of Gold Coast for obvious reasons
No other team can lay claim to this
Cool stat.
I'm going to also assume the Crows have won more interstate finals than any other team.
Essendon beat Fremantle in Perth in the 2003 EFwithout checking my hunch is actually Collingwood
*nope not even close, obviously swayed by the fact Collingwood beat Adel twice at a Football Park final
It's actually West Coast
West Coast 12 *(1 neutral)
Adelaide 8
Sydney 8 *(1 neutral)
Brisbane 5
W. Bull 5 *(1 neutral)
Collingwood 4
Richmond 4 *(2neutral)
Port Adel 3 *(1 neutral)
Hawthorn 3
GWS 3 *(1 neutral)
Geelong 3 *(2 neutral)
Melb 3 *(3 neutral)
Fremantle 2
St Kilda 2 *(1 neutral)
North 1
Essendon 0
Carlton 0
If we take away the COVID finals and non-Vic Grand finals, it looks like this
West Coast 11
Adelaide 8
Sydney 7
Brisbane 5
W. Bull 4
Collingwood 4
Hawthorn 3
Port Adel 2
GWS 2
Richmond 2
Fremantle 2
Geelong 1
St Kilda 1
North 1
Melb 0
Essendon 0
Carlton 0
That was how the RFC website worded it, which was a bit silly. They’ve met in finals 16 times, including grand finals. So finals record including GFs is 8-8
Richmond beat that stat by having it covered over 12 seasons from 1983 to 1994 without making finals or a percentage over 94%In 11 seasons, Gold Coast have never played in a final or had an end of year percentage over 94%.

ha ha, It's not between us mate. Every Carlton fan like me is fully aware how incredibly s**t this run has been. To think it starts to get near how s**t Richmond were from 1983 for that period is horrifying to see how far we'd fallen away. Eight seasons without a finals win is horrific stat.Just between us, the Blues have a nice little streak going. Not finished in top 8 for 10 consecutive seasons 2012-2021. That’s a fair old while.
Include his WSC Supertest record and how does his average stack up.Ian Redpath has a higher test average than Mark Waugh.
I don't think we've played Richmond in a finals game

Probably some nine year old kid learning about football without any good sources.I’ve re read the opening sentence to this at least 50 times and it’s still got me f’ed. Timokane really is the goat.
