You do realise that might be your take on things; others may have very different views.
Together we can decide collectively the future....

We can't claim to be an independent country if we are still tied to the British Monarchy.

Those who do, don't want to be part of Australia as they know it and what they have seen, it stands for. Especially as they have been here a bit longer then the rest of us.
But what is clear is that a flag or date change won't make any difference. There will still be rage and anger towards our society.

Sorry but you really shouldn't call it whinging. That is totally missing the point and probably a good indication of how big the divide is.

That there are a number of present issues that need to be dealt with and that just can't be put away as whinging.
You can't tell me that the Aboriginal community is thriving, at peace with the modern world and it only wants more recognition of its own culture. Or that they are well looked after by our government. Think of everything negative and ask yourself what we can do to change that for the better. And how far away we are from making those changes.

I guess idea of Most People thinking that Aboriginals are just Alcoholics/Druggies and go on "Walk-Abouts" is not a great look for them.

So how can the Government Change that about them. Yes lot of them have not Adept well to Modern Life but also how much effort have they put into fit in?

You mean the Country of which they burned the representing flag and with that, insulting the people fought and died for it? Yep that speaks of enormous amounts of love and respect.

It isn't a great look indeed but take a tour through Elizabeth in SA and it is not exactly the highlight of society there either. So take that into account as well please. They are not in the most thriving areas of Oz and if they are, they are not profiting from it.
The services that are provided to the really remote communities have been cut quite recently.
It is not like we are doing them much favors there.

Shows massive Disrespect for them and is like Spiting in there Face.

Protesting can be done in a way better way

No Surprise the Government has cut Funding to the Remote Communities. My Mum donates to 1 as they get next to Nothing from the Government.

But are they trying to Improve too? even with the Government pretty much Ignoring them?

If the government isn't who is.
And how would you like to see improvement. Sure we can bring education. And then what. Well educated people without any job prospect in their local community. It is a piece of the puzzle but far from complete.

Not particularly. Those are completely different demographics. They have a common theme called unemployment. Although areas of mass unemployment might be comparable when an area was dependent on a type of industry that suddenly fell away.
