A local greengrocer has been found shot dead on his driveway as homicide detectives launch an investigation.
The body of John Latorre was found outside his home at Buchanan Place in Greenvale, in Melbourne's north, at about 4.30am on Tuesday.
Mr Latorre is understood to have run a successful fruit and vegetable business at the Melbourne Market in Epping, about 18km north of the CBD.
