Both underrated mids, both will be good players.

For mine I would go with Swallow, I just believe he will be better, Reilly strikes me more as one of those players who will just do his thing every week and never really get noticed, but I see Swallow turning into a Daniel Kerr type player.

I'd also go with Swallow because I think the better upside is there. He has been in the comp 2 less years than Reilly and is already at about the same level and will get better.

Seeing as Swallow is 4 years younger then Reilly, I would say Swallow has a bigger opportunity to make a bigger impact on the AFL.

If so he is much better now and i think they will have very even careers. Reilly has dissapointed me to be honest, thought he was going to be an out and out star but not to be.

The poll is "Who IS better", and Reilly, at the moment, is a much much better, and complete, footballer.
That's the benefits of 4 more years in the system. Swallow could well be a superior player in the coming years, but Reilly is clearly the better player at the moment.

Agree.

It's amazing how often these polls get taken out of context. It wasn't asking who WILL be the better player, but who is NOW. Swallow is just a kid still finding his feet where as Reilly has been around the block a few times.

I don't think the comparison was as good as some thought.

Reilly is a very long way ahead of Swallow. Swallow doesn't even come close.

They're both brilliant players. Would love to have both in my team for sure. However, i love Swallow's ability to extract the ball from the midfield - not saying Reilly doesnt do that however.
