Yep we simply need the Eagles to win the derby, alongside North beating GWS (I believe without Xerri)Simple way to look at finals.
We're two games behind Freo in eighth (who have a game in hand)
Because of our percentage we are effectively three games behind them.
There are five games left.
I admire the positivity of some but we ain't playing finals.
I remember doing this last week and found a way to get us into 2nd
Dream bigI remember doing this last week and found a way to get us into 2nd
Then I remembered I tipped WCE to win 5/6 alongside North

Fremantle are overrated. Too many passengersand too many followers. They won't win either of the games against Carlton or Port easily as they don't put their dominance on the scoreboard. Both Port and Carlton can score quickly. It wouldn't surprise me if we see in at least one of those games Fremantle dominate for 3 quarters and lose on the back of a poor quarter. Port also have a couple of younger players at SANFL level that any half competent coach would have in over at least 4 of the players that are supposedly best 22. Don't be surprised if a couple of them get a chance at senior level and grab it with both hands.Carlton are genuinely dog water, Freo will smoke them.
Port are also terrible especially with all their injuries, Freo will smoke them.

DQ interested in your thoughts on Green, I know you have been a bit underwhelmed, are you starting to see green shoots of development?
Was the genuine match winner for us today. Such a genuine gun and that one handed mark he makes it look easy.
Early on I recall he wasn't anywhere near as good on his opposite foot, but he's cleary worked on it and either side now up close he's chance.Just the ability to snap a goal brilliantly and stay composed on his wrong side, the guy has no ****en fear in the contest. We have a lot of guys who complain and argue , he just gets on with it.
I am a happily married man but Heeney is also a good looking rooster .
I bet he could bat 3 for Australia as well.

I would be very surprised if Pies lose to Freo at the G, that’s a long shot.If Freo win tomorrow against Collingwood I wouldn't be surprised if the mathematical models give us about a 10% shot of making finals (winning all remaining games)
Good to hear DQ, I think he is a better project than Stretch and we have invested. I am hoping another pre season and he will be close to ready in 26, Obviously Grundy in rare form so not a huge need yet, but hopefully season 3 we start to see something more consistentlyYes, I think there’s been a few green shoots.
He’s nowhere near physically ready for AFL - but he showed some reasonable skills in recent weeks.
I’ve gone from worried to intrigued.
Do you remember the game where Goodes had the kick after the siren against Essendon? Roosy nearly jumped out of the box tell Goodes not to play onI miss Roosy calling our games basically had his Swans scarf on

Bye bye Ladhams Bice and Roberts lets get some of the kids in with some energy because that was lethargic as heck
Is this a Autopsy or maths class?
Pistol came on, played 20 minutes and almost had more hitouts than North Melbourne did the whole day. Got a goal assist for Heeney, too. One of our better sub performances since Campbell in last years QF v GWS or Bice v Freo earlier this year.im not a huge fan of any of them but seems harsh on guys who arent really the problem with respect to lack of energy. I mean ladhams came on and had almost as many hit outs as grundy for the same time period on the ground
unfortunately our team is very star dependant - and absent papley we dont have any ginnivan types who are straight out look at me flogs but whose personality brings energy.

In fairness, as much as I hate a tall as sub, Aaron Francis v Port was pretty special. Probably the best quarter he has ever played, 3 goals and gave us a chance. Great call - that match is erased in my brain. In fairness, as much as I hate a tall as sub, Aaron Francis v Port was pretty special. Probably the best quarter he has ever played, 3 goals and gave us a chance. Arguably one of the best sub performances ever
