Seaby must have 0 trade value thought someone might take him, wonder if he will go in the draft

Did he play in 06 ?
Yes - For West Coast. He played 20 H&A games and 3 finals including the Grand Final where he collected 2 handballs, had 2 hitouts and had 2 free kicks against.

He didn't get traded to Sydney until after the 2009 season so he could play in the red & white for the first 6 H&A games of 2010.

Seaby to Adelaide, Tippett to Sydney, sounds like a fair trade :thumbsu:

Pretty sure the Crows are happy with Sam Jacobs in ruck and have Josh Jenkins and Shaun McKernan as back-ups. We did release Ivan Maric (Rich) and James Sellar (Melb) last year as we had too many rucks on the list already.

So thanks for the offer but on behalf of the AFC (even though I have zero affiliation) I shall politely decline.

It might be just me, but i think Moore was stuffed for fitness and pace. I thought he was quite clean with the ball though.

Only really remember him for a game againt the lions rnd 22 one year kicked 4
I actually looked and i am surprised he played 68 games! Feels like 15-20. I remember he broke his ribs or something i think against Collingwood, and his first game against the Bombers. His goal is on the highlights DVD from that season. lol

Shame for Seaby. He is a pretty capable ruckman (I recall he was BoG in one game last year), but for some reason just couldn't play a second-string role and thus got pushed down the pecking order. I'm surprised there was no trade interest, but there mustn't have been if they delisted him at the start of the period.
Seaby was dominating for you guys last year before he went down with a busted ankle, which gave Mumford the chance to dominate. Sliding Doors I know, but wonder how your rucks would look now if he stayed upright last year.

Good ruckman, shame it's ended so soon for him. Pyke though looks to have overtaken him now.

Yeah, Seaby's start of 2010 was incredible. Probably best ruck in the league for the start of the season. After that ankle break at the (first?) bounce against the Lions, though, it was all downhill. Except his 3 votes vs Richmond at the SCG last year. What was that all about?

Moore looked so promising around 2008. Too bad. Never again shall my name appear on the scoreboard.

His opposing ruckman was Andrew Browne.

'Tis true. He played out of his skin that day.

At his best, he is a very capable player so I do really hope that he gets another opportunity somewhere and that he gets fully fit again. Neither of those look altogether likely unfortunately.

Moore did not finish when he had the chance, missed a few goals that good players would get, great wet tracker. If Seaby was any good Leo wouldn't have taken THAT mark

That was 2010 as opposed to last year. The ensuing two years has seen him replced by Pyke and White as second ruck choice at times.

aah, yeah, sorry. You're right. It was 2010. When you guys picked up Seaby I thought it was a real coup, but he's never been able to dominate games like a Mumford, and Pyke seems to have gone past him in the secondary role.

Moore was a great role player, had great vision when going inside 50, organised the team well and was honest. Lacked for pace and his tank was reasonable. He did Sprint training with Matt Shirvington (the Package) but alas he just couldn't get to where he needed. Spent his final years being an on field leader and winning an NEAFL Easter Conference best and fairest in 2011.

Pretty sure he did his ribs in this game, not sure if this particular incident:

Best of luck to him, I always had a soft spot for him as an underdog/bulldog :)
