Moore was a great role player, had great vision when going inside 50, organised the team well and was honest. Lacked for pace and his tank was reasonable. He did Sprint training with Matt Shirvington (the Package) but alas he just couldn't get to where he needed. Spent his final years being an on field leader and winning an NEAFL Easter Conference best and fairest in 2011.

Pretty sure he did his ribs in this game, not sure if this particular incident:

Best of luck to him, I always had a soft spot for him as an underdog/bulldog :)
Nah fairly sure he did his ribs against the Tigers in MOL's 300th.

Maybe.

Wikipedia quotes:

"In 2009, Moore's form dipped from the outstanding year he had in 2008. He drifted in and out of games and his season was ended prematurely against Collingwood at the MCG when he bravely backed back into a pack and had his lung punctured.

Stand corrected then. Maybe he just played through the middle in the Tigers game and looked really good, because I remember just as he was starting to look good through the midfield he got injured.

that was the incident allright. One thing you can about Moore is he never left the ground without his best effort. and that isnt the only time he got hurt moving the ball to advantage in the line of fire.

When the Tippet bizzo is done will start a Jarred Moore page on the board. He was on our list for 8 years so deserves a discussion page but will get lost in the tippet debate at the moment.

If Jude plays on we have one more to go. Brett Meredith, Mathew Spangher?
I have been known to cock up these calculations, so.....

As I understand it next year all club lists will be 40 (no veterans inside/outside etc, although vets will count for salary cap purposes).
This year we had a senior list of 38.
Moore. Seaby out.
So 4 available spots, no need for more delistings?

(Plus Tippett in?).

I clubs need to make at least 3 picks including rookie upgrades so you could be right.
