Analysis Continuing the Bloodline - Father Son/Daughter options

Father/Son and their eligible draft year. This is all the info I've been able to source so far. Happy to add, amend and maintain as info becomes available. There's probably plenty I have missed. I have also got a separate list for Father/Daughter but that might be better off in the AFLW board. Tag me and I can update this post.

We're not very good at f/s. Grandfather/Son seems to be working better for us.
I smile, still, watching Tom play, knowing that I saw his grandfather Max play.
Did you know that Max worked on the strange weird scoreboard at the South ground?

In the early 50’s I was the young fellow operating the small scoreboard on the bowling green side of the Lake oval. As a kid I enjoyed it immensely to be seemingly so involved with anything to do with my heroes at South.

But it seems a bit creepy to be tracking a kid from the day they are born. In the hope that they might be a Swans player 18 years into the future.

I tend to agree. Although before last years grand final I was at a bar on level 2 sitting a few seats away from Josh Kennedy's missus and their son. I found myself shaking my head in disappointment as the toddler fumbled around with his teething toy before clumsily dropping it on to the floor.

Hi all,

I noticed in the media article below that Barry Hall now has a son named Miller.

It got me thinking about a future father son opportunity for the Swans.

I think it's great that other boards have father son threads where they can discuss the progress their past champions children make if they choose to try and pursue footy as a career.

I tried searching for an existing father son thread however couldn't immediately locate one so thought it might be helpful to start one up.

Mods - please feel free to merge with the Jessie Maxfield thread or any existing father son threads we have.

Andrew Dunkley: 3 children (2 sons). We all know Swans missed out with Josh however there is still the chance with Kyle Dunkley.

Paul Kelly: 5 children (3 boys apparently). details to follow however the eldest Jackson Kelly didn't make the grade despite playing for Swans reserves and academy and plays for Wadonga Tigers

Wodonga Raiders does Jack play for.

That was also the Umps change room and was also handy to hide in while the Sunday morning 20 laps were on.
