Titanic was a crappy romance movie.

Either way though, inflation between now and whenever Titanic came out means Titanic probably still earned more.

I'm not a massive Titanic fan but I can respect it for the fact it was able to take the disaster + melodrama genres and make over a billion dollars from it. I like superhero films, particularly Marvel, but in terms of quality of film there's just no comparison. Off-topic though!
