So Clarke, if it is him played well not against the best quality midfield, but a good performance none the less.

Nicks still performing, good to read.

Well according to Fox Sports, Moore only kicked the one goal and didn't make the BOG list. Also it appears that young Moore played very well and was one of the best on the ground.

I suggest that its Round One to Moore.

For the record, Clarke (#46) had around just over a quarter of game time, all on the forward flank - had half a dozen possessions and kicked 2 goals one.
Handy start.

I presume that first "Moore" is meant to be Clarke?

Clarke definitely kicked two goals - and pearlers they were too.

The Moore listing in the best players has me a bit baffled. He must have done all his good stuff over the other side of the ground from where I was sitting. I only saw him 3 times - once failing to get close to a contest, once turning the ball over and once completing a regulation receive and deliver. I guess that's what comes of watching a game without the benefit of elevation and a big screen.

Clarke definitely kicked two, but they seemed to have credited Potter with one. Moore was okay, got into the thick of the action a few times but did nothing special. McVeigh and Buchanan were great at getting the ball out of the congested areas.

Always nice to beat the Bombers, but other than that its pretty much a meaningless 32 point win that saw us play the kids and from the looks of things they did very well.

More details to follow.

Yeah, it might have only been a trial game but it was important because it gave coaching staff chance to have a look at our kids. We did very well, considering the fact that a lot of our stars were out for different reasons.

I think it will be a bigger test this week against a full strength Bulldogs outfit, with the kids once again playing in place of our stars. I don't expect a win, but if we do better than last years effort against Carlton I'll be happy.
