Good catch. I read the comment this morning and had a vague recollection he'd been a lot more ~~charitable~~ informed.

Takes me back three or four years to one of the great Barrett moments when he was demanding that a Swans player contribute more, unaware the player had been injured virtually the whole season.

He's an absolute goose. I get bedford's point about just ignoring the s**t he says but he is given the privilege of being a major journalist in footy and he uses that privilege to just talk absolute rubbish, make s**t up, and give "expert" opinions based entirely on emotions. His reporting of the Daniher saga last year a prime example.

Not strictly Swans, but on topic, there is a very good article on the ABC site about Connor Whats-his-face from Essendon who just retired. It gives a big serve to the 'journalists' who cover the AFL and just make stuff up.
