Fox Footy podcast decent listen, they discuss the Papley incident then a guy on there who supports the Pies mentions that they got away with JDG diving on the ball - first time I've seen that mentioned so kudos to come from a Pies supporter.
Not to mention moments before that I think either Mills or Warner are held without the ball which should have been a free as well. Having watched the replay twice through now I can confidently say that Collingwood have nothing to complain about at all.

Yeah Warner which was 100% a free.

Not sure if it's been mentioned but I reckon that the Quaynor run from the boundary (I think it was the last quarter) was an extremely generous 15m without a bounce.

Love Kel , but he's already done it . Peter Bedford was to do it in 16 before we were cheated and should've had the option again .
I would like to see Stuart Maxfield do it one day but not sure he's held in that same company as the Skiltons, Kellys, Goodes etc. of our club.

As stated in an earlier post seen the game live and watched it twice on replay start to finish and could not agree more. The Miochek dropped mark was farcical.

Having been saying it since Saturday night. They were not taking any risks with a player who has become the catalyst in this charge to the GF. Backed themselves with the fact that they were in control of the game and next week was looking very very possible so get the player who could be a deciding factor in the biggest game of the year into cotton wool. Smiling and laughing after game, walking around as free as a bird and on news clips strolling freely at a good pace into scans. Very positive news by this update.

So would i , buy any sympathy for Bedford ?
I don't really know anything about him beyond what I've heard from others, including yourself. But it does seem strange to have someone be a cup presenter but then when they miss out on that opportunity the first time, to not give them that opportunity again.

Pridham in fine form

People in the media say presidents like Pridham are holding Tasmania back, but I think he is actually one of Tasmania's biggest assets.

Because he is actually challenging the AFL to do the new Tasmanian team right, and make sure they are sustainable long term. And not just swallowing meaningless emotive arguments from Tim Lane like 'Tasmania deserve a team' .... whatever that means.

PAYWALLED ARTICLE

“But last year towards the end of the year I started to get a bit like that (homesick), but the club has been great in helping out and it’s gone a long way".
'.....he said the Swans couldn’t have done any more to get him through.'
“They’re always coming to me and seeing what’s needed to be done so that’s massive for me and makes it a lot easier to want to stay around at such a good club like this.”
Good to barrack for a club that seeks to help and support their players.
