Only second behind Goodwin as the least coach under pressure. Wonder how many teams could say that after their coach has been at the helm for as long as Longmire has...Hawks don't count because Kennet is a madman

I could be forgetting someone obvious but Longmire is now the coach who has coached the most games with their current team isn't he? Used to be Clarkson but he is obviously gone and even if he comes back in 2023 he will be on year 0. Longmire has been coach since 2011.

Yeah. It would be Longmire

3rd

Hardwick 274 games
Scott 261
Longmire 258

Your google-fu is strong Millky.
If you can trust Wikipedia hahah

What's interesting is Hardwick being only half a season ahead of Scott and Longmire despite being coach for a whole extra season. Shows how many finals Geelong and Sydney had been in until Richmond's recent surge

Yep, agree with this one. Need to start winning finals.

At first I didn't like the idea of Kennedy playing out of the back but as I think about it I like it. Similar vibes to Hodge. Neither players are the fastest or most skillful like we normally attribute to HBF but they're strong, accountable, reliable, smart intelligent players.

If Kennedy playing in defence let's Blakey & Jmac off the chain - perfect.

And like Hodge we can throw Kennedy into the middle where needed

Hodge was extremely skilful. He was an elite kick for the vast majority of his career.

Champion player - but I’m a bit uneasy about extending Buddy.

One more year could help other clubs entice a Logan, McL or Armatey if they’re worried about not getting games.

If we're in a premiership window and he's still better than those guys, which I think is a strong possibility, then we'd be crazy not to. Until he's no longer our best forward, we should prioritise him as he is.
