Sunday Footy Show: 2 minutes spent on the joy of Buddy's goal, 8 minutes of Barrett reporting on whinging Geelong players and staff saying they were frightened, it was oh so scary and just so dangerous. **** me dead, yeah I get it but can we please, for the love of God just have some semblance of joy and spontaneity in our lives?

I feel this statement was pretty wrong. We don't grab ready made players, we develop players a lot. We're probably better at developing players than any other club
I actually thought that was the inference, that in the draft we target kids with a specific purpose in mind, we don't just grab the best available like most clubs.

Not to mention they spent the first 15 minutes of the show talking about Collingwood, Hawthorn and Port Adelaide before mentioning that something pretty amazing happened on Friday night.

That would be like the Sunday after the Grand Final where someone kicks a goal after the siren to win the game, starting the show by talking about the GF sprint for 15 minutes.

It is self serving Melbourne centric bilge.

The round wrap up article on foxfooty. Scroll to the last heading for discussion on swans youngsters. May also be some discussion of another swans milestone ;)
Four finalists thrown into 0-2 pit of despair; Buddy deal the ‘best $10m ever spent’: Talking Points
The last line is sooo true.. Buddy, JPK, Rampe, Parker, Harry Hickey... all so important

“They have unbelievable youth ... plus they’ve got great role models around the club to help these kids through.”

ps.. Mills, Paps, Heeney (the next gen) are not bad role models either

A little bit of that a little bit of this...have some lazybits

They also completely misconstrued the Florent/Warner photo and pretended both players left the stadium as they feared for their safety.

What a stupid stat to hold your season on. Ruck stats are not reliable. They are influenceable though. Be careful negotiating the difference.

It's a twitter account devoted to tracking the AA-ruckman, what did you expect it to tweet about?

Out of left field. Stumbled on this on YouTube, an English soccer fan now Aussie Rules convert describing Buddy's 1000s as his all-time favourite sporting moment and extolling the joy of Aussie Rules because of the incredible drama it creates. I guess most of us think that, but interesting to hear it from this unusual source.

(Don't know if he's a Swans fan but he did say he loved the 1-point eleimination loss so maybe not..)
