While the Hawks go and try to fix that broken wing - the Swans have flown harder for longer.

I'll keep adding links as they become available.

Very positive stuff indeed. Love what they had to say about Errol in particular.

Swans and McCartin talk -we are second up so just scroll past the Magpies/Bombers game talk.

The fact that the "Swans' new superstar" they're referring to is different to the "Swans' new superstar" this same series talked about a few weeks ago can only be a great thing.

This was posted on the Blowtorch. Fox sports. Preview of the Hawks game.

After reading this. I really do wonder what drugs journos are on.

Swans’ burning question: Should they have fought harder to keep George Hewett?

The Swans are going well, but the performance of George Hewett at Carlton so far suggests they may’ve underused the midfielder before they opted not to match the Blues’ four-year deal and let the restricted free agent go for what became pick No.39 as compensation. The 26-year-old looks at the peak of his powers and is putting up career-best numbers in the Carlton midfield, stepping up when Sam Walsh was gone and doing so again without Patrick Cripps last week. While the Swans are well-served by Callum Mills and Luke Parker in the middle as contested beasts, Josh Kennedy has been moved to halfback after a bruising career in the engine room, while the young brigade of the Swans is still developing. Hewett could’ve been a huge part of that midfield this year and bolstered the Swans’ already-impressive credentials. There’s no point in looking back, but one can’t help but wonder if Hewett would’ve been primed for a breakout year at the Swans too if he was convinced to stay.

Interviews with Lloyd are few and far between so great to hear from him. Holy smokes everyone, this was actually a good interview by Dwayne.

Jake wants to stay in Sydney.

Swans biggest statistical change this year.

SYDNEY SWANS

Metric: Clearance differential

2021: -1.0 (#12)

2022: +4.3 (#3)

There’s a different feel about the Swans’ on-ball brigade in 2022 — and it’s paying big dividends to date. With Josh Kennedy starting the year in defence, the likes of Callum Mills, James Rowbottom and Justin McInerney have been given a decent crack on the ball. All three players, subsequently, are averaging career-high disposals, clearances and contested possessions. The Swans’ ability to win the ball at stoppage has also led to an improvement at scoring from the source. They ranked 12th last season for points from stoppages, but have improved to eighth so far this season.

Horse talking like Hickey a big chance at the end of his interview

The thing is after seeing Ladhams I really do think him and Hickey can play together in the same team as both are more than handy around the ground. It isn't a case of them becoming liabilities in any situation other than in the ruck like a lot of ruckmen.
