AFL draft 2015: Melbourne expected to bid for Sydney academy product Callum Mills

"The Swans could also have access to father-son Josh Dunkley who might still nominate the club before Friday’s deadline.

Despite speculation Dunkley would instead enter the draft to increase his chances of remaining in Victoria, it’s understood he is warming to a move to the harbour city."

This comment from Igor below the article is gold!

"I've watched A Beautiful Mind. I've watched Good Will Hunting. I eat my green vegetables. I still haven't got a clue!"

Very hopeful we will still select him under the father/son rule. A quality player/person who will fit in nicely in our midfield and improve our contested possession and clearance count both areas we are a little overrated in.

Indeed! Can't wait for the draft

I think Dunks Jnr will be a gun. The problem for us is that the opportunities will be limited in his first couple of years at the club. Other clubs, particularly in Victoria, can offer a direct spot in the starting 22. The only way we could reasonably attract him is by creating a spot in the midfield. So who do we let go? Kennedy? Parker? Mitchell?
Why couldn't he play on the half back flank where he has played most of his footy to date?

Roos is nothing if not predictable.

Has anyone heard whether Dunkley nominated?? Today is D-day and was reported was going to make decision yesterday.

Surely it will get leaked

A leak at Sydney is like a leak out of a rock. Just not likely to happen.
Yeah there was absolutely no suggestion of Sinclair and Talia being chased before they ended up here.

Yeah he doesn't lodge it with us, it's with AFL House:..:::which is Caro's sphere of influence.
Caro wouldn't leak a story....

She'd make up some completely bullshit sensationalised version of the truth that she claims to have heard from her ever present "sources" who "tell her" what certain people are thinking, feeling, what they were going to do or had planned to do but not etc etc... It's really amazing mind reading type stuff.

But she wouldn't leak. Reporting "the facts" isn't leaking....

Being serious for a second, of course there are leaks. I don't dispute that at all, there are at every club and our club isn't immune. I was being sarcastic in my initial post however I think we do better than most clubs at keeping important info on the low down too.

The Buddy deal never made a blip in the media rounds until it was "official". Likewise the Tippett deal.

The only thing that was leaked was by the IT guy who posted on the Swans website that Dunkley has nominated to come via Father/Son rule. You can find all the juicy bits there!

I hear that Dunkley is in love with Parker, but Parker does not know and he has feelings for Jones. The problem is that Jones has an evil twin and does not know about it.

Wouldn't want to piss off that forward line as a key position defender would likely get himself knocked out.

That team would win a few games for sure.

Couldn't squeeze Maxfield, Cressa, Fosdike, or Ball in.
