Not getting the pure hatred for Heeney. Is doing his job. Is not butchering it any more than the others. Has absolutely nailed a few kicks into the forward line resulting in goals. Are we really expecting him to be a 30 touch 80% disposal efficiency player? He's outperformed Parker again so far today.

Other than the poor kick and plenty of people inevitably calling for him to be delisted, I've enjoyed Rose's game so far. Not playing in his regular position but still helped create a few opportunities and is working hard to get up the ground.

Got to be happy with this. We've had 1 bad quarter most matches where the opposition have had 10 shots at goal which has ultimately cost us in each & every game. If we can avoid that today then we will win this game easy.........................but!

I said when Buddy came back 2 weeks ago that he needed a few weeks to get match fit and he'll start firing. In other words this post is a brag that I was right .

We match up well against the slow methodical teams like the eagles because we’re pretty disciplined and it doesn’t exploit our weaknesses

In the end it certainly was but we had so many early chances to get 20 points in front both against Cats & Pies.
We are looking ok.

He’s still learning and nowhere near his peak imo

Disagree. The Cats kicked at least 10 of their 13 goals in two 5 minute clusters. If we didn't let the floodgates open in the first third we'd have won IMO.

we have not been able to maintain the skill and effort for long enough periods in a game all season. i will believe it when i see it.
