Win and we all but guarantee 2nd, lose and we finish 5th if we beat Saints and the Melbourne v Brisbane game isn’t a draw.

Only way to lose and finish 4th is if Fremantle somehow lose next week.

In a nutshell, we seriously bloody need to win this!

How many games at the SCG have we kicked 100+ this season? Continue that trend, kick 100 and we win by whatever margin that may be.

This is finally a game where our midfield completely trumps the oppositions'.
Pendlebury, Crisp and De Goey are their best mids compared to Warner, Mills, Parker, Rowy.
De Goey the only dangerous mid and is potentially a late out.
Pendles is near the end of his career and Crisp has hated any physical contact in the 2nd half of the year.
No excuses for not smashing centre clearance.

This game will shake the foundations of both clubs. Shake shake the credibility, strength, ability, tenacity, endurance of both clubs. Epic.
Cannot wait. Glad its today. Only hours now.

Without going to all the details of the possible score lines/margins, putting it simply a 30 point win will have us into second place above Melbourne.

That's probably unlikely given how tight this match will probably be. But hope springs eternal!

I actually think it won't be close. Two attacking teams so could be a blowout. Not sure who will win.
#fretting:sadv1
the waiting is agony - which in itself is hilarious because I'll probably be asleep when the game is on....but its the thought that counts!!

We can go from 6th on the ladder to 2nd with just one win.

I'm so nervous I don't actually think I can watch this game.

If we win I will quit Bigfooty forever that's how satisfied I'll be.

It might be a classic see score and watch later if we win sort of game.

It’ll be excruciating to watch. If it’s close I’ll probably pretend it isn’t on for 30 minutes and come back to it.

Feeling quite relaxed about this game, which I much stress, is not based on any intelligent analysis about our chances. Just feel like the work has been done and now it is up to the players to execute (or not).

Of course, once the game begins, I reserve the right to generate copious amounts of stress induced Adrenalin and blame everybody and anybody that crosses my cognitively alarmed brain.
