Well. That was a weird game. Felt off the boil in the first half, losing the 50/50s, particularly in contested ball

Then something happened at half time and we turned it on.

Serong, Rosas and Curnow all did well in their first game
Heeney felt off the pace but still got 20 disposals and 2 goals
Papley the spark early
JMac did well when got back on the outside
Roberts did well on the wing instead of half back
Mills made a difference off half back, we really missed him
McCartin had his 1 brain fade (has one every game) but otherwise was fantastic

2nd half was unreal at the ground

First half we would of been gone against a contender

We still get beat up up in the mid group

Thought jmac 2nd was the difference and that’s just unreal in it self , your reliance on heens , Erol etc to much but he just said **** it. I was at the ground to so wasn’t just his goals

Thought Mccartin flogged McKay

Defence still needs somthing

I would be playing serong of the wing

Blakey neees to harden the **** yo if he wants a premiership medal , like his dad

Nice win, exceptional second half. All played well, the new recruits all contributed.

As the callers were saying, players ran out the game really strongly. Shoutout to the fitness team. Shoutout to the coaching tag team too, Goodwin on the bench, Cox upstairs. Not many other teams have that coaching depth.

If you told me before the game we'd win by 10 goals i'd take it in a heartbeat, but jeez I wish I didn't have to sit through that first half.

I really don't know what changed in the second half but I want more of it and I don't want to wait half a game for it every week.

Mills leadership was excellent in the second half.

Ball hitting the deck in defence is a worry, Sheldrick needs to learn to kick or play twos

Dunno have to look but it seemed I saw Rowie more at the CB when we dominated?

Serong Rosas and Curnow great recruits.

Thought Serng was awesome when it mattered and after.

lloyd was exactly what we needed when it could have gone real bad.

Rowie tackling, Macca grew a heart and really cracked in.

Pretty good overall.

We have to allow them to get into the seaason and they were all dripping wet after 5 monutes.

Just awesome really, very happy over all, lucky to oplay Carlton I guess but we are not terrible, just can play terrible footy.

Was worrired re Roberts but he showed me. Played a game overall.
