Apparently Adelaide is now a regional centre  Adelaide V Sydney at AAMI stadium in downtown regional Adelaide on Saturday March 5 at 1pm

Should be interesting as clubs gear up for round 1. Will Sydney introduce more of their stars this week?

Adelaide would look to give more game time to some youngsters but also introduce players with mnor injury concerns and get them match fit. I would expect to see the debut of S Thompson in a Crow jumper

Good Luck

"Roos said he will bring in every available senior player for the clash with Adelaide to ensure they have a good hitout before the season proper. It's likely that only four senior players Michael O'Loughlin (knee), Jared Crouch (collarbone), Andrew Schauble (foot) and Luke Ablett (knee) will be unavailable."

And good luck to you too.

So that means coming in: Davis, McVeigh, Mathews, O'Keefe, Schneider, Barry, Saddington, Nicks, J.Bolton, Kirk, Goodes. Not a bad bunch!

Will will drop out? I'd take a guess at: Hayes, Potter, Clarke, Shaw, Garrubba, Grundy, Vogels, Schmidt, Campbell, Moore, Powell.

Bit hard on Moore and possibly Vogels but I don't think Roos will drop anyone more senior even if they are playing crap (hello Fosdike!). Or maybe he'll rest someone who's played every week so far like C.Bolton or Doyle.

Re: AAARRKK AAAARKK The Crows Regional Challenge

My expected line up.

B: Mathews Barry C Bolton
HB: Williams LRT Kennelly
C: Spriggs Goodes Maxfield
HF: O'Keefe Hall McVeigh
F: Davis Doyle Vogels
R: Ball Bevan J Bolton
Int From: Jolly Kirk Dempster Willoughby Fosdike Buchanan Moore Saddington(if fit)

I'd expect Schneider to get a game too if fit, maybe at the expense of Fosdike?

It's in good company, joining Homebush, close to the geographical centre of the country's biggest city!

As to the Swans' line-up, probably only those younger players in with a shot of an early season call-up will get a guernsey - Willoughby and Dempster are probably top of the list, with Moore and maybe Vogels just behind. Potter deserves a run for his efforts on Saturday but I doubt he'll get it.

I believe the game is confirmed for the Friday evening at 7.30pm local time.
