Could've sworn the Warriors passed the Royals in wins at one point though.

It looks like they briefly did in Season 27 (for a week) before falling narrowly behind after that.

Define 'official'. Southern Dragons FFC was a continuation of the Dragons. Southern Dragons was also a continuation of the Southern Sharks.

Who would play for the AllStars?

Non-member placeholders. I recall Tony Lockett. Jason Dunstall, Gary Ablett (Sr) were among the squad members.
