So! San Marino!
Let's begin with the group stage of the 2024 Euros.

We're in a group with Germany, Wales and Greece.

GAME ONE:
First up, we played Germany:

I open the scoring for the side in the 9th minute thanks to an assist from man of the match The Half Back. Sadly, a Hartmann goal in the 32nd minute secured a draw for the Germans. But not a bad result first up!

In the other game:

A draw here too between the Welsh and Greek.
So everyone on 1 point after the first game!

GAME TWO:
Then against Greece-

A win! 2-1 with Agent93 and me on the scoresheet. A 57th minute goal from Greece just a consolation. Golumless wins player of the match.

In the Wales vs Germany game:

Germany win comfortably enough.
So us and Germany on 4 points with Germany ahead on goal difference. Wales and Greece on 1.

GAME THREE:

Me and then spookism score to win in a very dominant performance. I get player of the match

So we need Germany to like... draw.

But they win.
So we progress second in the group.

We're up against Holland!

And it's a very comfortable win. Once again myself and spookism on the scoresheet, along with PMBangers. I got player of the match again.

QUARTER FINAL:
Up against Portugal this time!

Paddles_'s 39th minute opener is cancelled by a 53rd minute equaliser from Raphael Guerreiro but a penalty is converted by croweater 41 in the 89th minute.

And so we progress to the semis! Huge!

Up against Spain!

Oh. Oh okay. We get thumped. Golumless' double not enough to send us to the final with Spain scoring 5.

2026 WORLD CUP:
We qualified! Woo!
Cameroon and Paraguay in our group.

GAME ONE:
Up against Cameroon first

Great way to start the tournament! Goals from croweater 41, Genghis Tron, The Half Back, Agent93 and Paddles_ giving us a 5-0 win. Different formation being used here as well, in the Euros 2024, we went with two strikers rather than this 5-4-1 tactic. Agent gets player of the match with his goal and assist.

GAME TWO:
This one is between Cameroon and Paraguay

A big win for Cameroon means a point against Paraguay sends us through top of the group.

GAME THREE:

A hat trick from The Half Back confirms us as top of the group! Good stuff.

So we go through to the Round of 32 to face Venezuela.

Up against Venezuela in the first knockout stage!

Should have scored more really but still a good win, with PMBangers scoring the goal to send us through to the Round of 16, where we meet Brazil.

ROUND OF 16:
Brazil this time!

We squeak by on penalties! Huge! San Marino are into the World Cup Quarter Finals!
Paddles_ equalises with a stunning volley in the 66th minute after Fabinho's opener in the 47th.

No goals scored in extra time so it goes to the shootout where The Half Back and myself miss, but Elton Johns Wig, cats2rise, Quivorir and PMBangers score. eth-dog saved the penalties of Vinicius Jr and Renan Lodi to send us through!

QUARTER FINAL:
Up against Serbia!

Agent93's opener is canceled with a pen given away by Chipmunk in the 36th minute, before TubbsFarquhar and croweater 41 score to ensure a place for San Marino in the SEMI FINALS!

We meet Argentina with a place in the final on the line!

SEMI FINAL:
vs Argentina

We've only gone and done it. Through to the World Cup final! Argentina dominated possession but couldn't get past the 5 man defence protecting croweater 41's 12th minute goal.

We meet Holland in the final...

WORLD CUP FINAL:

WE HAVE WON THE WORLD CUP!!!! Amazing stuff, less possession once again but the defence holds out well to only concede a 91st minute consolation after my opener and The Half Back's sealer, which was an incredible solo effort on the counter attack to bring the ball from defence all the way to score.

Unbelievable! First trophy for San Marino! Surely we dominate world football from here.

Awards:

EUROS 2028:
We have of course qualified and find ourselves in a group with Germany, Romania and Ukraine.
It looks like Golumless has been left out of the squad again...

GROUP STAGE:
Game One:
First up against Ukraine.

croweater 41 and Hate score to give us a good 3-0 victory with The Half Back the player of the match.

In the Germany vs Romania match:

Germany get a 4-1 victory.
So we're probably sitting second on goals scored.

Game Two:
Up against Germany

Genghis Tron scores a couple of minutes after Germany open the scoring to get us a draw. Halfy with player of the match again.

In Romania vs Ukraine:

They also draw.

Which means Germany are still above us on goal difference.
So we have to do better than their result by more than 1 goal I think? To finish top.
But should be fine to progress.

Game Three:
Final game against Romania...

Paddles_ and Agent93 give us a 3-0 win, with Agent the player of the match.
Good result, puts us 2 goals ahead of Germany on goals scored.

Germany vs Ukraine:

Germany lose! Handing us the top of the group.

Here's the group table:

Ukraine jump Germany! But Germany still progress in 3rd. Also looks like goal difference isn't the tie breaker lol.

We go through to the Round of 16 to face Denmark.

Up against Denmark

A comfortable win here with goals from myself, Agent93, Paddles_ and PMBangers. cats2rise with player of the match.

We face Sweden in the next round.

ez win again. croweater 41, Barrybran, me and TubbsFarquhar with the goals. cats2rise once again player of the match. Had very little possession but seems we were lethal on the counter.

Through to the semis!
This time we face England.
