This proposition makes no sense. Eade is not in a coaching role so you would not be swapping coach for coach.

Having said that Tapping has done a good job with the VFL team. But it might not be in our interest to have him 'elevated' to the seniors. Our future is tired up in our draftees and it may be better to leave him where he is.

Huh?

Eade is not a coach or an assistant coach so how could you drop him from the coaching panel. Unless you mean you want him sacked as GM the same role Geoff Walsh had until he quit.

I do agree the Tapping should probably join the senior coaching panel.

Brad Dick can be an assistant coach, and Eade can go play in the ammos in WA or whatever.

Eade's main job is 'Director of Football' and head of the Football Department. He is not listed on the CFC website as a coach. There would also be a vast(?) salary difference between Eade's position and that of Tapping.

Saying that, Eade appears to assist Bucks on match day, and probably also at training, because he can. He has the skills, and Bucks needs assistance. Even Bucks admits that. Geoff Walsh did not assist in that way, due to a different skills set, and maybe a more definitive separation of the Director of Football role from match day deliberations and dramas. Tapping has also been seen assisting Bucks on (some) match days. IIRC, they were all in the box on Anzac day this year, and joined the 1st qrt huddle to help turn that game around. Ah, the memories....

Taps was also in the box last year, not sure how often but he was definitely there against West Coast late in the season (I think Rd 21 or so)
