I thought he did as well, in relative terms he took a really big step forward. But we need a year like that to be a top 10 year, not top 5.

Silly voting system. Always has been. You cough - you get a vote but my takeaways are:

Luke McDonald. Not once was our Captain named in our best players on the official AFL website. That's some feat then to finish ninth.

No universe, except the Syd voting system of course, where Zurhaar had a better season than Comben.
