Small previews this week only, very tight on time this week. We'll just go through the main chances.

Sydney Cup

No Wine No Song - has been in superb form and is a out and out stayer.
Precedence - Had a bad run last time out can be forgiven for it.
Zavite - Has been on fire with his track work and will run out the 3200m strongly
Jessicabeel - Off 52kg only huge chance
Littorio - Won BMW
Moatize - Dont think it'll win but the market does like it.

Early Verdict: No Wine No Song each-way

Champagne Stakes

Beneteau - Good 2yo ran third in the Blue Diamond
Sasa - Won maiden two starts back by 5.8L followed up by good run behind Skilled.
Kudakulari - Has already won a Listed race over 1600m, strong chance.
Skilled - Second in the AJC Sires Produce
Yosei - Sires Produce winner
Toorak Toff - Market support in Sires Produce (4th), stopped around the 1200m.

Early Verdict: Very tough, maybe Kudakulari each way

QE Stakes

Rangirangdoo - Massive win last week in the Doncaster, will be looking to go agaisnt him. Failed backing up last time in Melbourne when going to 1600m to 2000m (Crystal Mile then the McKinnon)
Road To Rock - Just beaten on the line last start
Doctor Fremantle - One of the outstanding imports with good UK form.
Monaco Consul - 3rd in AJC Derby and Vic Derby winner.
Palacio de Cristal - Running well without winning.

Verdict: Doctor Fremantle

All Aged Stakes

Hot Danish - Glamour mare, consistent without no G1's (been very close), maybe this is her day?
Mic Mac - Greg Eurell trained sprinter who is going to be following the steps of former stablemate the great Apache Cat. Will go close.
Danleigh - Very good consistent runner, will be in photo.
Melito - Last start Group 1 winner in the TJ Smith, where she swamped Hot Danish on the line.

Verdict: Melito to sweep around the outside

W.A.T.C Derby
Hard race here, too hard to call. Probably Chartreux each-way

No Wine No Song - In super form, may be a bit heavy but will be in it a very long way
Rangi - Class factor will take this horse a very very long way
Kudakulari - Decent odds in a very tricky race
Mic Mac - had an unlucky run last start when trying to get out and wanted laying in on it, bolted home on the fence one winner was already gone

Littorio or Zavite. Only two that can run the distance. Be working around both into multiples

CS

Would have taken Yosei, but the big run in the Sires may have seen its peak. be looking to Beneteau. A good horse, and most good horses see out their campaign with a good win.

QE

Rangi is my fave horse, and will have something on him. But more of a token bet than a crack. Feel the same after he smashed the Waterford then went into the Mackinnon. Palacio always misses the kick. Nope (watch it prove me wrong now). Be backing Dr Frem.

AA

Hot Danish. She's due. Main lash of the day. Although down to Meltio last start, still a massive run. A big go at her.

Best Sydney cup field i've seen for a while, some real quality there.

I like Zavite in the cup, and Mic Mac in the all aged.

Kudakulari in the Champagne.

Booming E/W in the Cup.

Mic Mac in the All Aged. Not going out on a limb but I'll be boxing Danleigh & Melito into that trifecta for sure.

Dead keen to have a look at Doctor Fremantle in the Queen Elizabeth.

Didn't think Rangi was going to win but shattering as you said for Doctor Fremantle, but on the good side of things if they are still on something that has a massive chance.

Well a good days racing indeed....

Good weekend last weekend with Brilliant Light and Shellscrape both paying well for the place..see if we can get a couple of winners this week.

Happy Hippy in the first, like it build up to this, racing against some quality horses and putting in somr pretty good efforts in the process...each way all day

No reason to go against Yosei, will look to be up near the speed again and should improve with a wider run at them this time...don't see why it wont run well again, at 11-1 i'll stick with her.

Have followed Moatize from the start and after its run on the weekend I'm on board...Drops a little weight to carry 57 and will make a difference, doesnt have a great turn of foot and gives more of a sustained run which it did last start. Was ridden cold on purpose and its last 400m was very good...typical Bart pre run.

Mic Mac is a certainty, will carry the weight, will get a clear run and will run out the 1400...had a good go at 4-1, will win

Happy Punting! Red Falir, Jungle Ruler and Mrs Waters are my e/w bets at Sandown

If I go with my head I'll run with Zavite and Danleigh. If I go with my heart I'll run with Littorio and Hot Danish.
Would love to see Hot Danish add that elusive Group 1 to her CV. Just think shes might be a 'fresh' horse though with 10 of her 12 wins coming 1st or 2nd up.
I've followed Littorio since its Vic Derby prep but hes record suggests he likes the sting out of the track.
Hmmm..... Heads winning.
Also think Neroli will go better than the current double figure odds suggest.

After having SO much on Forensics in the Myer into Sunburnt Land in that Salinger, I never want Hot Danish to win ever again!

I think you're right with Zavite & Danleigh being 'sensible' bets. I'm looking to get a share in Blackistone trained horse so heart says Littorio a bit as well.

Wish i posted it earlier for you guys when it was 12 dollars but we had to wait for the other tips to come up but the 10 dollar odds is still pretty good. 3 in a row now for us and with massive chances coming up (they have to be massive chances or not we'll never put them up in the first place haha)
