I usually have 4 flights per week for work (2 return trips) and can honestly say I have never been asked for ID. I fly Qantas so I am not sure about the others. Hope this helps.
Yeah Qantas don't but others do randomly

I would say quite a few MEB.

On the train on the way into the game on Sunday, I had 2 Richmond supporters sitting opposite me trying to work out how they would get to ANZ Stadium from the airport.

They had booked their flights. I was so tempted to say something to them.

I was so hoping they would be on the same train on the way home. :p :D

Just out of curiosity, were you on the Sandringham train on Sunday Raptor

No Im in Ballarat mate. Looks like no one wants them so there will be 5 empty seats.

All the best to the blues on Saturday.

Generally only get asked for id if you have checked baggage and usually only then if you haven't checked in. .. That's my experience. ..

Contact the airline and get a credit, seriously. Don't throw your money away! Surely Richmond will have an interstate game next year that you can use the credit on?

Speaking of flights to Sydney.
I have just booked tickets to Sydney for next year's game against the Swans.
Virgin have a sale, $70 each way.
I like to be well prepared.

I am sure that they are quite happy that they dont get to play us in round 1 next year...

After their surprise win in the first round this year, business resumed it's normal course with 2 humiliations... one of which was a final :D

Conversations about Melbourne train stations wouldn't usually draw me (all the way from Sydney) in but .....

memories are flooding back (from the 70s) :)

Brighton Beach Station (yes my local) to Richmond, or to Flinders St then tram to Princes Park.

Cheering some of the Blues Greatest sons, so many sweet victories.

Must have been wearing desert boots at the time too! (spooky)

Many thanks for this thread. :thumbsu::thumbsu::thumbsu:
