Is it just me or whenever one of these wanna be gangsters get shot I get a warm fuzzy feeling and a smile on my face? Then I look forward to their mother being on tv saying ' but he always been a good boy he never make trouble'
That is why people are quick to accuse the cops of happily letting the scum of society kill each other off...they have had secret thoughts of their own along the same lines.

'Police are searching for an alleged “enforcer” of the notorious Alameddine family they accuse of being one of two “lieutenants” linked to an organised crime network, fearing the pair are attempting to flee the country following police raids across Sydney’s southwest.

Masood Zakaria has been issued an arrest warrant for conspiracy to murder, directing and participating in a criminal group, and serious drugs charges.

More than 100 police officers raided 13 properties on Wednesday linked to Sydney’s Alameddine family, seizing more than $500,000 in cash, firearms, stolen vehicles and illicit drugs.

Zakaria is allegedly an “enforcer” for Rafat Alameddine, the leader of the crime family.
Younes, Rafat Alameddine’s cousin, is a rapper with 44,000 followers as verified on Instagram, and was featured in Rolling Stone Australia in August.

Last year, his cousin Talal Alameddine pleaded guilty to supplying the gun that was used to murder NSW police accountant Curtis Cheng.

Police sources say they believe Younes’s rap videos directly reference some of the crimes he is accused of committing.'

& on it rolls, the wrong bloke shot dead !!

NSW detectives believe two members of an underworld family were the intended targets of a deadly ambush that killed a Sydney father-to-be.
  • Police say Mr Naaman was in the wrong place at the wrong time
  • A grey 2018 Porsche Macan was seen travelling in the area before and after the shooting
  • CCTV and dashcam footage has been released of a vehicle of interest and of the incident
Superintendent Doherty said the pair happened to be travelling in a car identical to Mr Naaman's white Mercedes.
"He was in the wrong place at the wrong time and shot down in cold blood," he said.
"The people responsible for the shooting followed the wrong target to the car — they thought it may have been these other two people.

aslong as they continue to get away with these crimes it will keep happening. Police generally do a great job, but these series of underworld killings over the last few years have largely gone unpunished.

A $3mil kidnao paid in the same community?

Suggestion wrong bloke was kidnapped: 'Police are investigating several theories as to why Mr Elomar was kidnapped, including whether he was mistakenly targeted by the Comancheros over a significant cocaine heist.'

Just a lazy $3,000,000 laying around in Condell Park. (You could buy the entire suburb of Condell Park for $3 million) and the surname Elomar….I’m not entirely sure it was the “wrong guy”

A bit of optimism from the NSW Police or an attempt to flush someone or something out in the open:

'NSW Police have "supercharged" an anti-gang operation to put an end to the deadly underworld war that has rocked Sydney over the past 18 months.

Senior detectives believe they have now locked up most of the key players in the conflict between the Hamzy and Alameddine families which has claimed several lives and terrified innocent residents.

Operation Hawk was launched on Thursday morning, with up to 600 police officers tasked to "get in the face" of members of the two crime families.

Deputy Commissioner David Hudson revealed 80 of the suspected 300 affiliates of the gangs had now been arrested, promising "this is by no means the end" of the crackdown.

A pointed message was saved for the runaway Masood Zakaria, an alleged senior Alameddine figure, who police have been searching for since mid-December.
The 26-year-old is wanted for questioning by police over allegations including conspire to murder and directing a criminal group.
"Obviously you're a coward," Assistant Commissioner Smith said of Zakaria.
"You need to hand yourself in at the nearest available police station.
"We will obviously continue to pursue you. And if you go overseas, we'll pursue you there."

Two crime families who have waged a murderous underworld battle on Sydney's streets used encrypted phone apps to advertise killings and spark "bidding wars" from hit men, police say.

  • Almost 300 charges were laid as part of Operation Hawk crackdown
  • Raids and searches uncovered evidence to unravel a gangland war
  • Young men are lured into the underworld with "cash and rap music", police say
NSW State Crime Commander Stuart Smith said a blitz on the lower levels of the Hamzy and Alameddine networks had uncovered a raft of evidence about how they have operated at arm's length from police

Since Thursday morning, Operation Hawk has targeted hundreds of people at the "bottom of the food chain" in the crews, and also visited people linked to outlaw motorcycle gang the Comancheros.

Assistant Commissioner Smith said the directive for Operation Hawk was to "take the gloves off".

It was carried out with "surgical" precision and targeted 310 individuals who allegedly took part in drug and weapon supply, violence and car thefts, he said.

"I will not rule out further arrests and you will not see it coming," he said.

Two men to be charged with 2020 murder of Mejid Hamzy

Two men were charged over the alleged execution in July 2021 and remain before the courts. But, following further inquiries, detectives carried out four search warrants early on Thursday morning.

More:
The murder of a longstanding Sydney drug importer was allegedly contracted by a high-ranking transnational crime figure living abroad, according to detectives familiar with the matter, who arrested two men over the slaying this morning.

.... officers will allege that the murder was unlinked to any specific feud between the two clans vying for territorial control; instead, they will allege the 44-year-old was murdered over a belief that he had stolen a large drug importation destined for the Australian market.

The Australian understands the circumstances of the homicide are linked in some respects to another murder that occurred two months prior to the Hamzy killing, with detectives noting similarities in the location of the murder and similar “contractual arrangements”.

2022-03-10/mejid-hamzy-two-men-arrested-murder-condell-park/100897616

Key points:

  • Two further men have been arrested and charged with the murder of Mejid Hamzy
  • Hamzy was shot dead outside his Condell Park home on October 19, 2020
  • Police allege his death sparked a feud between the Hamzy and Alameddine crime families

  • Police believe a high-profile Comanchero living in the Middle East hired hitmen to kill Hamzy over a large shipment of drugs.
Detectives admit his death sparked the ongoing gangland war with rival family the Alameddines but say they were not behind the shooting.

Sources close to the investigation have revealed Hamzy stole a shipment of 400 kilograms of cocaine from international criminals, who ordered his execution.

Criminal groups squad commander Detective Superintendent Grant Taylor said the arrests were the result of a two-year secret operation involving the NSW Crime Commission and other law enforcement agencies.

"We will be alleging that the murder of Mejid Hamzy was sanctioned at the highest levels of international organised crime," he said.

"The motivation of this murder today relates to the alleged theft of a large importation of narcotics that entered this country."
