I don't think either SS or CCJ were going to be playing in our finals side, so no harm done.

I'm sure the club and their managers have pointed out that there is a spot available for both players in 2021. Stack can displace Broad or Baker in the short term and Houli in the long term. With Markov leaving, he has to be the next guy in. He just has to play great footy and make it impossible to leave him out. CCJ should walk in to the second ruck spot.
Replace Baker??? Lol, Baker is a crucial component of our very strong back line. No way known he will lose his spot unless he has a catastrophic loss of form. He’s one of our very best clean ball handlers, and a good user

Interesting that you guys are talking beers....I've recently got myself a 3 vat system for doing all grain brewing and each run gives me about 6 slabs. I've done a couple of pale ales, a lager and a red ale. My partner and family are English so I'm looking at doing a proper English bitter using a British crystal malt with a darker roasted malt for colour. Also plan on using the British Fuggle hops for authenticity. I'm hoping to get that proper English amber malty beer style.

The beers I've done so far have been ******* awesome, so much better than the store bought, flavourless crap.

I'll let y'all know how the English bitter goes......probably on the TAN rather than here

I love Baker as well, but that small defender position is one that Stack is competing for. I completely agree the position is Baker's to lose. Stack is more likely to replace Broad (if we want more bounce of half-back) or Houli (if injured).

Dimma was looking pretty happy with the two ruck set up.

It would not surprise me if ccj was next in with Soldo going down. If available.

. Hardwick seemed bit uncomfortable with Chol. Astbury. Broad as the 2nd ruckman?

Coleman-Jones and Sydney Stack to return to Punt Road in early December
By Peter Ryan
Sydney Stack and Callum Coleman-Jones will return to training at Richmond in early December with the club set to embrace the pair as they attempt to put the hub indiscretion that led to them being sent home from Queensland in September behind them.

The Tigers confirmed that both players would begin their pre-season when most first and fourth year players from other clubs return, with the pair understood to be keen to work hard on the track as they take their first steps towards earning a spot in the reigning premiers' line-up.

Stack and Coleman-Jones made headlines in September when they were involved in a late-night scuffle outside the Kebab Zone situated in Surfer's Paradise's night club district after leaving the club's Gold Coast hub in breach of the AFL's strict protocols.

They were suspended for 10 matches but with the Tigers playing two home and away and four finals matches since on their way to back-to-back premierships they will be available for selection in the AFL team by round five 2021.

The club also declared at the time that the players would pay the $75,000 fine imposed however after push-back from the players' managers and the AFL Players' Association and with the emotion receding, the club acknowledged that a solution was likely to be reached between the player and the club although any agreement has been kept under wraps.

Neither player was in the team at the time the incident occurred however Richmond ruckman Ivan Soldo suffered an ACL injury in round 17 that ruled him out for the season so the Tigers were forced to play just one ruckman, Toby Nankervis, for the finals in Coleman-Jones' absence.

After their initial anger subsided the Tigers hierarchy firmly committed to the two players with three-time premiership coach Damien Hardwick publicly backing the pair on the eve of the club's preliminary final clash with Port Adelaide to learn from their mistake.

"We're supportive of them as a club. We are incredibly disappointed in their actions but the fact of the matter it's a learning opportunity for both of those boys," Hardwick said.

"They can either sit there and think about what they have done and dwell on it or grow from it. We will continue to support those boys. They are Richmond men. We love what they bring when they are at their very best. They made a mistake and we will continue to invest in those boys."

Richmond have been quiet since the end of the season recording a small profit despite the huge dent on revenue caused by COVID-19. They also lost lively small forward Jack Higgins during the trade period as he became impatient for opportunity and decided to join St Kilda and traded running defender Oleg Markov to the Gold Coast.

The Tigers have picks 17, 36, 61, 79 and 97 in the upcoming draft but could keep a rookie spot open to add a player via the rookie draft or pre-season supplemental selection period.

Most of their squad will return to training in January with the AFL grand final played at the Gabba on October 24 because of the coronavirus pandemic.

Post a pic bloke , love a squiz at how good it looks

Been a few reports of being late to training or drinking around and that’s why he was dropped to the vfl side in 2019 despite decent form

All just rumours but who knows
Very close to the mark
