The AFL players and partners, staff etc. are under a completely different set of rules in Qld to the rest of the community. Thats why they are allowed to keep the competition going, they are not allowed to do as everyday Queenslanders do.
As has been reported this is the worst breach so far, these 2 have shown zero respect for the entire club and competition, I wouldnt care if they sacked them both immediately.

Deep breaths all round please people. Perhaps we might just wait on the facts of this incident to be disseminated before creating doomsday narratives that possibly fatally malign both players. It certainly appears to be dopey behaviour but appearances have been proven wrong before. The key issue is whether Covid isolation requirements were breached. If they weren't, can we just move along to the next contrived crisis.

I think he should get another chance, but we know Dimma does not take too kindly to toxic players. He gave Connors the arse, he might do the same with stack.

OFFS can the sky is falling crowd calm their farm till we actually know what happened.

My wacky theory is let's wait till we know before we tar and feather them. So no, I don't want a quick response from the club leadership. I want a measured response that aligns with our values and the facts - not the baying of the media or the more excitable sections of the membership.
Thankfully I think we have club leaders who will do just that

the trouble is it comes across as arrogant, whatever the rules the act looks incredibly arrogant and disrespectful to others making various efforts and compromises.

Did they actually go into a strip club in terms of risk of picking up the virus from exposure to sweaty environments like gyms?

The COVID protocols are on players and staff so that they don’t put themselves at risk of catching the virus. They live under tighter restrictions than the rest. The WA teams would’ve had to abide by the same protocols when they were home.

Lions and Gold Coast under the afl rules as well, not under qld general public rules. Don't have all the details but it's much stricter than the rest of us - We can have ten people in our homes, and go to cafes and restaurants and visit extended family. They can't.

If the CCTV shows they were the ones attacked then it does make it less serious, however the stupidity of them being there in the first place is inexcusable and those defending them need to take a good look at themselves.

Send them home to train at the club for the rest of the season under Melbourne lockdown restrictions. Make them prove how much they want to be on the list.

Pretty sure going into a strip club would be a breach of the COVID protocols, there’ll be a pretty hefty fine coming our way from the AFL.
