In a normal year its not sackable. Not without priors anyway.
But this year there are massive list cuts impending. There will be many difficult decisions to make, and players being cut that you would otherwise keep. Is there room for a bit of a project player? Not sure.

Fair call but I think both Sydney and CCJ have enough talent to be more than project players and I still think as long as as they did not hurt anyone innocent they need to accept any possible fines and suspensions and then work with the club to see if there is a future for them at the RFC. If we are going to sack any player for offences or breaches than it has to be applied consistently across all the clubs. It would need to be proven their actions were worse or more dangerous than others this year.

Maybe they won the fight fairly clearly against a heavily intoxicated man so they were the ones charged on the spot. Doesn't mean that police can't go back and charge the other man if there's supporting evidence and if they can find them.

I was just saying that IF they were the ones attacked then it's not as serious, but still stupid and deserving of punishment

There has to be retribution! seriously, they have had a major brain fade and will face some serious consequences, but some of the reactions on here are over the top. I hope the club find the right balance between giving them the necessary reality check while providing them with the right mental health and moral supports they will need from what already has been intense hate being piled on them. I’d rather correct and support our players, not eat our own.

its a breach of trust as well I assume, so might be short term punishment but I doubt it will be soft.

The other thing is the next breach for these two would be very hard one would think. Its worse that there as two instead of one going solo because the two did not try and think of the others risk if they did not care for themselves.

The whole act is not good for team ethos!!
