Lol, I listened to that interview today, talk about a drama queen, I mean full blown drama queen.

She (the lawyer) admitted "it was her fault" as she didn't check the address she was given and was desperate to pass the blame to the police.
The lawyers"characterised voices" when depicting the nice sargent at freo watchhouse compared to the evil detective who rearrested jenny was hilarious

Should add she is now in maximum security on remand, that's how serious it is.

* it also came across as she was the same duty solicitor who represented Stack the first time.
WA backing themselves into a corner shall they have an outbreak .

Think the premier has a near-90% approval rating. Someone likes his border policies.
Until the tables are turned and the remaining state premiers get the opportunity to repay his policies . Funny how he turned a blind eye when Fyffe broke his COVID rules .

Don't know anything about Fyfe. Did it make the papers here?

I'd happily have paid $1000 freedom tax to swap places with West Australians for the past 9 months. We've had about five minutes' respite in Victoria.

One of the most notorious cases was Natalia Nairn the dentist. Instead of doing her 14 days quarantine when she entered WA she treated 41 patients. When she was caught doing that she was told to stop and remain at home for a later court date but then she also wasn't home when the police later went to check on her.

Even after all that it was only when she failed to appear in court that she was held behind bars.

She was sentenced to 2 months jail, with 7 months suspended.

I would have thought that’s a far more serious violation than Stacky

Being in a fortunate position doesn’t permit someone to be a campaigner and to act inhumanly .

What did Fyfe do wrong?
He had a valid pass/exemption to be in the zone, wasnt quarantining, and by WA law was allowed "exercise" if social distancing was observed.

Those people will keep sucking on his teats as long as the “virus” isn’t spreading across the community

i wish we had taken his approach to the nsw outbreak and frequent international quarantine cockups and we wouldnt be threatened with a third wave already. shut the border to nsw until they can show they can be competent in running a quarantine system that theyve had 6 months to prepare

That's what people overlook. Stack has no address and lied to the police about the Belmont address.
The woman today who was rearested and sent back to prison also lied about her new quarantine address.

And she is a complete effing nutter!

Exactly what wasnt fair with the magistrates explanation or decision today?
Well I didn't know that people are being jailed in WA for Covid breaches. So in that respect I guess the magistrate has done nothing unusual.
I am amazed that this is happening however and Stack's breach seems rather minor, coming from states with zero cases.

Syd f’ed up. Accept it. And if he goes up in front of the judge again and tries to claim he was in Perth for a COVID test, he's a chance to be locked up for a while.
To the best of my knowledge no-one has disagreed that Sydney ****ed up and therefore they including myself have accepted that. The issue is the penalty he has been dealt is over the top .
Revoke his special exemption , extradite him and ban him from the state for how ever long they want if need be .
People have been found breaching COVID laws relating to isolating , in many other states and not faced immediate time in the slammer .
At the heist of the 1st and 2nd waves in Victoria multiple people who were positive cases or close contacts were found to be breaching isolation laws and given a fine .
It’s ridiculous and completely out of touch .

The same penalty applies to everyone, he would have been aware of the provisions if he failed to comply (like all travel applications its on the form you complete).

Why is Western Australia performing better at control of COVID that other states (NSW, SA & VIC)?
