Well, he is having a mental health assessment........maybe he is more troubled than we realise..
Possibly. But a poster here highlighted a while ago that no RFC players like his posts. Since then I've paid attention to that and it's 100% true. If you look through his posts on Instagram almost all RFC don't like or comment on anything of his. Compare that to what any other player posts it seems like he is not the most popular bloke around.

Of course there could be a directive from the club to not comment. The less said the better.

I think he's back on tictok...
I just hope he pulls his head on and really learns from this. Unfortunatley, I don't see any evidence of repentence or regret.

What would repetence or regret look like to you?

They're probably just as sick of his shitty tik toks too. They just don't use BF to post about it :moustache:

Based on what, his social media?
Or are you in the inner circle where he is talking constantly to Blair Hartley? And the Leadership group?

I want him to post an IG story on the 3rd day of every fortnight which details exactly how regretful he is and I want him to stretch his arms out as wide as possible to show just how big his love is for Richmond as he does it. Tears would be a bonus.

Was 3 months ago spent an excessive amount of time behind bars. Been restricted from his employment. I think he has paid his dues whether he gets back and performs or not

Ok. I think we can all agree that we want the best for this young man. Ultimatley, with someone of his talent what's good for him will probably be good for the club. I have no doubt that as with all of us, he has his own problems and from what I heard a troubled upbringing.
There is a whole list of indescretions that he has accumilated on his wrap sheet. Some of them may be just some bs, but we know that he has failed to stay out of trouble. He has been given more chances than anyone else has recieved to prove that he can be a professional AFL footballer. I in a way feel bad because young men at that age should be allowed to have fun. Maybe the phrase "boys will be boys" fits here. However he has chosen the life of a professional athlete, and in many ways this deprives him of many freedoms. I won't ever say stuff like "oh, so and so were well behaved at that age,", Stacky is his own special self. My concerns and fears lie in my observations. It seems that he never learns from his mistakes, and I cant beleive anything other than that he will never learn, and it's best we cut our losses with him. The club has backed him in again however, and I think they would know more than me.

Yeah probably i'm a bit old fashioned in the way I dislike social media- especially that tictok. What I will say is his behaviour on these platforms seems still so immature and naive. Maybe i'm in the minority here or maybe i'm not reading the room. But when he writes that apology and sticks it on Instagram, but he arrives back in Melbourne and starts doing those dances again, or he ends up in jail and then comes out doing those things again it raises certain alarm bells.
I of course don't know Stacky and maybe this is his way of expressing grief and disappointment? What i'm trying to get at here is that I wish for the very best for him, I really do. And hey, who am I to judge? I will express my feelings when I believe that the club that I love is being put into direpute or its reputation tarnished. There is my little bit on this issue. I hope I haven't come across as personally attacking or a miserable person...

Good luck with that

I don't do or even care about Insta - so to me he must have been perfect ;) .

That his other team-mates / players don't 'like' something of Stacky's Insta probably reflects more on the intelligence of his teammates not to, rather than the apparent lack of intelligence some think his posts imbued. I suspect this element might be a bit over analysed, however, I respect and appreciate the mention of it.

personally would like him to post nothing and just get on with making sure he comes back in better shape than he was the last time he fronted to training

You really think.. 'There is a whole list of indescretions that he has accumilated on his wrap sheet.' I'lll give you the first breach, dumb, stupid etc. The second one, he'd been living in WA for many months without incident, and breached his stay at home order and went out. Not a massive problem other than he did it in WA, any other state would have barely raised an eyebrow. Dumb again no doubt, but hardly incidents that other footballers would have been sacked for.
You make it out like he is some bad egg. So many positive words have been said about him by coaches and team mates, but that doesn't seem to hold any water.

Spot on. CCJ’s history is just as bad if not worse. He just hasn’t done it publicly. Stacks biggest issue is getting caught by others rather than the club. A bit dumb I think.

All players at the club would’ve had off field issues at some point, some still obviously would but hasn’t become public knowledge

I think this needs to be locked, unless there is another indiscretion.

End of the day, it will only be opinions on current behaviour and lets be honest, that can happen in the PLAYER thread.

Rehashing whether what happened to him was right or wrong has been done to death and serves no purpose.

Agree until he returns it’s pointless discussing him
