Ahh I was correct. The trial was in Jan where he pleaded guilty. The judge then granted bail on the basis that he was unlikely to receive a custodial sentence. The sentencing was put off 6 weeks until today to allow for psychological reports:

The amount of misreporting occurring, that has then been taken as gospel on socials, in this case is staggering. Mainstream media haven't even been able to get the basic facts right.

In that tweet he did say that he wouldn't be getting anymore jail time. Just hope the conditions of him getting let out don't require any checkins with WA police. Can't believe we haven't heard yet.
Surely time served would be more than enough

Requiring him to check in with wapol would be as bad as sending him back to jail honestly, he still can't go back to his job either way.
3 weeks in jail plus 3 months stuck in wa is more than enough.

Richmond Tigers player Sydney Stack will be supported by his club and is expected to return to the AFL after being fined $6000 for breaching Western Australia’s quarantine rules.

The 20-year-old was issued a move-on notice by police at a Perth entertainment precinct on December 19 when he was meant to be completing two weeks self-isolation at a house in Northam.

For those who cbf reading the article he’s copping a 6k fine and returning to Melbourne and Richmond (who have committed to helping him) on Sunday
Will be staying with a host family down here

Ball is now in Stacks hands
I’ve been as harsh as any on him but I’ll behind him 100%

F****** Joke of a state

Should have been allowed to return to victoria after being released and his lawyer attend this.
Whilst i am extremely critical about his behaviour and attitude as well as his dedication to his training prior
this is just stupid.

They could have just given him the bloody fine 2 months ago and sent him on his way
