10 weeks takes them to way into 2021 season ...not sure the club will cop that
Not really, even if we only play one week of finals it takes them to round 7 or 8 next year, that’s still fairly early. The club is all about chances for the players, it’s up to Stack and CCJ what they do with their next chance whether or not they get another contract in front of them.

This is what i don't get, why is the premier cracking the shits when they players have already done there 14 day iso weeks ago , how did they put people living in QLD's at risk ? so does that mean zero people in the AFL hub cant walk into a restaurant for dinner /lunch/ drink etc ?
From what I gather they can’t , only takeaway

we embarrassed them at the tribunal its pay back by AFL , plus the QLD premier got on board to try take her fu** ups away from her and say 'oh look over there ". Should have been suspended next 3 games and thats it.
Does anyone know if there is a published list of venues and activities the players can visit and partake in. I don’t reckon a strip club is on the list😂 but surely you are every chance to catch COVID at subway as you are at the strippers

To be perfectly honest, they as players don't really matter for this year. Hopefully this is the sort of thing that brings Stack back to earth after his great year last year and for CCJ? Well he better work his arse off because this is the sort of thing that turns other clubs away from wanting to recruit you.

Positive is neither likely to be getting a game this year anyhow - if they were it means we've got bigger problems. Also, another week til we play, Friday night footy about to kick off, media will move on quickly - quick decision helps.

we should appeal the decision

shouldn't even be a week off
Don’t think the club will do anything, given the politics of the situation and the perception that RFC has been ‘difficult’ in the hub, they have to be SEEN to be remorseful and fully supportive of the penalties, even if it may seem a bit harsh. Take it on the chin, and make us stronger and even more determined to win the flag this year.

Non approved Gold Coast venue... Is that the strip club or the kebab shop?

The kebab shop ... AFL has an exclusive agreement with a souvlaki shop up the road

Will be forgotten about in three days. Sheds return will also fire the boys up. Then Dion comes back. Season is well and truly alive.

Keep in mind this was also a big warning to any other players from other clubs thinking of breaching the regulations. This is a huge ass penalty and it sets a precedent, can’t really see any other player breaching regulations now.

still...10 weeks is massive..Round 7-8 is 1/3 of the season ....if it was due to injury..allgood...but Because it was due to stupidity...reckon They’ll be shoppped around

whats their contact status ?

So you can go for a surf or hit of golf or grab a coffee from outside the hub and it does not put the competition at risk but catching an Uber can
Pretty sure being at a strip club pushed it over the line

Yes ... the players should have known that. I did.

From what I understand both still have 1 year.

Sydney has dynamic talent, his bursting impact onto the AFL scene last year demonstrated that, don't think there's a lot going on upstairs though.

No excuse tho who knows what happens from here touch wood injuries wise what if a ruck goes down, or running player etc not buying that.Pure selfishness on the team, club and fans were 2 players short at the end of the day to pick.

lucky them...they better work their arses off over summer
Yep like I said, it’s up to them now whether they get another contract put in front of them or not.
