Lets hope so. His 2020 sucked & his off-field stuff really could have stuffed a weaker sides season. At his best, the side can certainly use someone of his talent and skillset.

2020 was hard enough for all players, all that isolated training for a gregarious kid like Stack was potentially never going to work. But he looks in good nic, ie not fat and in the gym and with plenty to prove. He's climbed over bigger hurdles than his stuff I'd reckon. Gun if it all comes together.
Totally, but you need to acknowledge that his 2020 was the pits, irrelevant of the Covid scenario. He handled it in the bottom 10% of the league. Between his 2020 errors Syd needs to reconcile with the fact that despite playing over half of the games over the past 2 years, he has won no flag or not yet played a final. As good as his 2019 was, he trailed off a bit prior to getting injured & really struggled to make any imprint in even the VFL finals after he returned.
He needs to get to the bottom of why that is and how consistently elite preparation will set him up better.

His injury really was still affecting him all through the 2019 VFL finals, to be fair. From what I remember he didn't trail off much, if at all while in the side.
He only played one game during the VFL finals last year mate? That was the Grand Final and he had very limited minutes during the game, he clearly wasn’t over his injury. If the game wasn’t a Grand Final and our AFL side weren’t playing in a Grand Final the following week he wouldn’t have even played that game.
Excluding his second game and the Carlton match when he got injured his statistics are incredibly consistent:
I can certainly accept he had his faults both on and off the ground this year but his debut season last year was absolutely outstanding.

Can stack and CCJ play VFL during their suspension? Or it’s AFL and VFL included?
Pretty sure they will have to sit out both levels until 4 AFL matches are completed. Then it should be open slather, whatever that is.

Edit: Here we go. If the VFL team plays after the AFL team on the same weekend then they will get to play VFL that weekend….if the 10 week Stephenson ban is anything to go by…..

Im Really excited by the players that have now been on the list 12-36 months who will have 2-3 preseasons into them now and will be pushing for senior spots
Stack , Dow , RCD , Ross , Ralph-Smith , Martyn , Cumberland , CCJ , Miller , Biggy , Naish
The AFL wont know what hit them with all these new kids coming in and just playing like 200 game players

Just watched a YouTube highlights video of his 2019 season, absolutely mind blowing some of the things he did that season. you can tell he has footy smarts in spades, and oozes real class. Hopefully just second year blues affected him this season just gone because if he gets it together, we have a superstar on our list. His skillset and ability to read the play is just another level, just smacks of star factor. All comes down to being driven to be the best footballer he can be and to control his off field distractions.

Agree, but something about Stack. He reminds me a little of Dennis Rodman a genuine individual ....RFC is the right place for him to make it though...
