Stack has a similar ceiling to Bolton, i'm expecting him to bounce back next year like dusty did when he had his troubles early and then shot to superstardom.

You're delusional if you think Stack is better than the player who won our B&F in a premiership year. He might have a higher ceiling, but he's not even close with regard current skill/application/professionalism.

By better player I mean he is a better mark, is faster, has a better kick (not longer), is tougher, has great hands and balance, in other words is the complete footballer. Obviously not a better player this year, but was last year, as an 18/19 yr old.

Short had a great year but it has taken him 5 years to do it. At the start of the year plenty on this board had him boarderline best 22.

Stack has enormous talent, let's hope he bounces back more like first year than his second, no reason why not.

And plenty of players have professionalism, that means little in regard to AFL careers without talent. Short has finally stepped up to be the player we hoped he might be, and full credit for it.

was mainly a half back. If Stack makes it as a mid, great, he has already shown he can make it as a half back. If his ceiling his high enough, great again.

Short was arugably only just best 22 given he was named ON THE BENCH in the gf. In another grand final , he couldn't get a run

It may sound silly but you can make very strong arguments he is an interior footballer to vlastuin. Baker. Houli. Even broad.

No shame in that, those are quality footballers.

I'd be surprised if he doesn't come back and have a great year. If he was going off the rails it would have been reported by now.
Looked in good shape in that pic earlier, and he has a lot to prove and to make up to his team mates. Seems the sort of kid who thrives on a challenge.
His best dozen games were as good as any first dozen I have ever seen. That 13m highlights clip would be many players career highlights if they were lucky.

Stack can be an A grader. He's had that shot across the bows early in his career. Fairly ordinary year, 2nd year blues, + some stupidity. Hopefully he'll grow up and bit and get the premiership medal soon. Talent to burn. But a poor upbringing.

CCJ also has talent to burn. He'll get the showcase it next year without Ivan. Hope it burns that he blew his shot at the GF. And he grows up and bit and work his arse off. There's an AFL career awaiting him. Fill in for JR and 2nd ruck to Nank.

Maybe delusional to think he's currently ahead and agree especially with application and professionalism BUT IF he were to sort them out he absolutely has the ability to reach that ceiling.

His debut season was one of the better ive seen at Tigerland and he has all the tools physically and skill wise to be a very good player for us. It all comes down to the off-field professionalism stuff. But hey hes a young kid whos had a tough upbringing and if ANY club could get him on the right path it will be us.

Im super excited to see how he goes in 2021

Thanks for the invite. I did once work in a strippers bar in a seedy part of London back in the day. You can imagine, they boarded up the windows at 12pm and all the sad eyed dogs from the neighbourhood hunkered in to spend a dreadful hours leering away. Alas, from that time on I have avoided naked women, a stance against subjugation of the other 'alf. Besides, her indoors wouldn't stand for it.
