They’ll be dealt with but people need to calm down.
More mature people like Lachie Hunter have lost the plot through this time too and more seriously but the bulldogs handled it well.
Everyone’s just adding to the media and opposition hysteria.
Steele Sidebottom ****ed up, moved on.
Just a couple of silly young blokes but calm the farm a little.
 
Also further to my comment if indeed true the players were fighting amongst themselves we could have a scenario where maybe one of them is the innocent one. Complete hypothetical but maybe one of them was trying to get the other out of the Strip Joint and hence the argument/punch up.

Lets not crucify both at this point as one could of been there to help the other.

Exactly. Apparently they only broke "club" rules, not covid or quarantine rules.

Similar to Steele Sidebottom so a similar penalty but no,this is Richmond.........
 
the media will go to town on this and the AFL will expect the RFC to act appropriately or they will step in

I'm surprised more players haven't transgressed with hub fever
the guys on the edge of selection or long term injury would be doing it tough (yeah yeah the whole country is doing it tough)

and have to let off some steam

unfortuneately it happened to us and not someone else

reckon there's a big chance these two would have been in our forward planning
CCJ - if Nank or Soldo are being sought by GWS
Stack - if any of Houli, Caddy , Edwards , Cotch retire and Pickett poached by Freo

The pressure is on Peggy , Brendan , Dimma and others in the decision making process

I wouldn't want to be too quick to torch these guys to the point they'll never play with us again , or have no trade value

a quick , measured but appropriate response is needed

it is sad for all those that have done the right thing

I would like to see the two of them in Richmond colours next year , I just wait now for the fall out and Club response :-(

That's what I posted above from 2gb reports, sounds like Colman Jones was initially trying to control Stack after they were both kicked out.
 
A third and subsequent offence would give the AFL Commission the ability to impose “any sanction on any terms or conditions” which could include the loss of premiership points or draft picks.

Every oppo supporter will be out with a telephoto lens on Tigers players for the rest of the season.

I have personally been able to meet CCJa few times at player function nights. He does not strike me as the type of person do something like this.

Yes, but the bit that jumped out at me was “A third breach would see the AFL Commission have the power to impose any sanction it sees fit on a discretionary basis. It could lead to loss of draft picks, premiership points and even bigger financial sanctions.”
